Last week I stood at the area with the washers and dryers waiting for someone to assist me. There were definitely associates but none of them bothered. I would have just given the review one star but gave two for their helping me make a decision to go to Home Depot. :D At HD, the moment I stepped into the appliance section, a friendly associate approached me to answer any of my questions. That's customer service! I ordered my dryer and it was delivered early, carefully, professionally, with no hiccups. Take note Lowe's management.

Lots of great plants & gardening products. I found what I needed and felt the prices were fair. The staff was kind and one young man on his break in the parking lot at the Merced, Ca. store insisted on helping me load some heavy items! His name is Evan and he is always very kind, respectful and helpful every time I have shopped there when he is on duty (and even on his break!)

We purchased a major appliance from here. Never again. The driver was 4 hours outside the 4-hour delivery and never alerted us. Then the installer broke something in the house during installation. The appliance turned out to be broken as well. I called the same day to return it. The installer had told me the return policy was 30 days. It turns out, it's now 48 hours!!! Fortunately, I called the same day. And then I called 2 days later when nobody responded. And then I called a few days after that. In all, I called 4 times to get these jokers to take back their junk and credit my card. A word to the wise: use Costco. They're not perfect but they're 100,000 times better than this place.

Is there a negative rating. This store and our window purchase of $25,000 has been an absolute HORRIFIC NIGHTMARE! THE worst construction service we have ever had and we have been in 7 homes! We took out a 3 yr no interest LOWES card to install new windows on our home we just purchased. This started in October of 2022 and it is now basically JULY of 2023 and we STILL have an incomplete job. The installer has repeatedly lied and failed to meet exceptions. The One slider that was damaged when the others came in we were told was reordered only to find out it never was....now we are on the third installation with the THIRD damaged door ! AND they don't tell you ahead of time they tell you when they show up to install it! In addition they mis measured one of our bathrooms windows and then NEVER reordered that one. ALL while we pay our monthly payment for a job that was never completed. AND do not get me started on the Caulking ! IT looks like a 2 year old did it. DO NOT and I MEAN DO NOT EVER USE LOWES FOR A BIG PURCHASE ....OH, the salesperson has NEVER returned texts or calls either -since she got her money I suppose it did not matter the service. We are just beyond upset, we have been treated horribly.

Just left lowes. Big sign advertising potting soil on sale (see below). Went to pay and charged full price. Asked cashier said no long on sale. I said well can I get it on sale because sign up. Told to go to customer service. Customer service tells me I should have read the sign. I asked if they would be taking down huge sign. They just looked at me. Mistakes happen, but they still have sign up and continue to rip people off. Will head across the street back to Home Depot. Easier to get in and out and if they advertise something on sale it is on sale.

purchased outdoor furniture when it was on sale. come to find out they sent me two different colors i didn't notice until i was about to put it together. went to the store and was told there was nothing they could do because it was past the 90 days. moving forward i will shop at homedepot. (update)called their manager chris and he agreed with me that it was their mistake so he took care of it. i really appreciate the fact that he helped me out. thanks to him i will continue to be a customer

Leana or her name sounds like that at the appliance department is very rude! She has attitude problem and is there just to look pretty. I asked her for help, she answered as if you are bothering her! She needs to go!!!! No customer service at all!

I would give this Lowe's no stars. It's sad that at least one is required to post a review. This place has no customer service, even if you go to the customer service dept. I had to go find help, there was no one around so I went to the customer service dept. and asked for someone to help me get a lawn and garden item that was locked down. There was a call for someone to come to aisle 22 for me but no one ever came. As I watched four employees in the service dept. talking to each other, not helping anyone or me, I decided that 10 min. was more than enough time to wait. I left. Looks like Home Depot will get my business.

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. I am usually not one to complain, as I've worked in retail for many years too, but the 'service' I received today was unacceptable. Cashier, Christina, was rude to not only a paying customer (me) but to her coworkers as well. I almost left without purchasing anything because of the way she made me feel.

My gf and I went in not knowing a thing or two with how to find the screws, nuts, and washers we needed. We simply presented what we had and the Lowes employee Roy found it for us. It was a difficult request but he took on the challenge but he didn't quit until he got us the perfect match! Excellent effort and grand customer service! Thank you Roy and thank you Lowes!

Crappy experience. Bought new blinds and washer and dryer in the same day. Dryer was delivered and does not get hot and the timer doesn't work. Had to get their repair guy out and he said he "fixed it". It still has the same issue and still fighting that battle to get it replaced. Actually on hold now for 10 minutes to talk to the appliance department. For the blinds it's been over 2 months and I still don't have them. Every person I talk to says the process is different than what the last person stated and they blame the last person I talked to. My original order was placed and they said they would call me once the installer did his measurements to take the payment. They never called me and so I called in after 2 weeks ( impossible to get them to pick up the phone) and finally they stated no I have to come into the store to make the payment. Okay no problem. Went in to make the payment and it was a few thousand dollars higher than what I was quoted. Spoke to the manager and it turned out the lady I spoke to over the phone placed a new order for blinds I didn't need or want. They got that fixed and situated. Then they said we'll get them cut and the installing company would pick them up and call me to set an install date. After 3 more weeks I haven't heard anything. Called in again and another manager said," I don't know who you spoke to but you have to pick up the blinds before the installer will schedule you." Now I'm waiting to see when the installer can come out. I don't know what kind of leadership and work is being allowed there but it needs to be fixed. The sad part is the cashier lady convinced me to leave them a positive internal review after they "fixed" my blind problem and I made the payment. She even typed it out on my phone and everything. Final conclusion, blinds should be installed almost 3 months later. As for the dryer I was just told there's nothing else they can do, despite being originally told if the manufacturer can't fix it we'll swap it out. Literally told them I was moving to Atwater and could go to the Merced store but they said," we're so much better then the Merced store don't go there" can't imagine what the Merced store is like if that's the case.

I called to find out if the blind cutting machine was working since the one in Modesto was out indefinitely. After a brief hold she just said, "yeah ours isn't working" and promptly hung up. No eta, nothing. Just hung up.

Check out almost always sucks here. Half of the people don't know how to use self-checkout. The machine doesn't work half the time. They have workers roaming around and none are qualified to use the register.

This store has ridiculous wait times at the every time I go there to check out, and I've been there countless times! The return / customer service counter is even worse, if imaginable. It's always under staffed and getting anything done at this store almost impossible. I can't even get ahold of anyone at the store level or corporate office to give some feedback on their location. I'm done with them. No more. Never going back. There's a Home Depot right around the corner that is well staffed that can get you in and out in no time. Why I even wasted my time with this Lowe's Location is beyond me. I'm sure its corporate labor budget garbage and the GM's hands are tied, but that's not my problem, and they lost me for good.

Did the pick up service and it took over 30 minutes to retrieve my package. Then, to make it worse, they treated me like I the jerk for expecting it to be available when the app said it would. Terrible customer service. Use Home Depot.
