Staff appears to purposely not price items to keep them for themselves. While in line, I saw how two cashiers removed an item from customer’s selection, stating that because the price tag was missing they could not sell the item.

The manager of this store is Rude! She lacks customer service skills. Cocky entitled attitude. She should be ashamed of herself.

They seem to price check their items with eBay post. Typically eBay post's are arbitrary numbers
Anyone can make up a price, doesn't mean it's accurate to it's value. Buyer beware, you can probably get it cheaper on eBay than thrifting these days..

Been going to this Goodwill for years now to purchase books for my classroom and community. Yet, I was recently told by numerous employees that they are no longer selling books to the community but a vendor instead. This is absurd since donations encouraged to help the community and not another corporation. From my understanding helping poverty is what the company stands for. Please do not donate books to any San Joaquin locations they are profiting off your donations rather than helping the community.

Manager will lie to you and say tag is not original tag if it’s an item she likes for herself. She’s done it numerous times to me alone and has done it to others. Bad goodwill location, stay clear away.

We have been donating to this establishment for years as well as shopping here. Just recently I encountered a cashier who was extremely unprofessional. When asked a question, it was a quick "I don't know". There was one item my daughter picked out "shoes" the cashier felt the price was marked wrong, so put it away to go back to be repriced? . No eye contact, no I'm sorry for the confusion or inconvenience. She was rude and unprofessional with that whole transaction. Enough for us to say we will no longer be doing business with your establishment.

My daughter and I shop at both locations in Turlock frequently, they have good items, however, I am not happy with the customer service practices. Covid restrictions have been over long ago and they are still holding on to Covid practices. They don't allow anyone to use the bathrooms or dressing rooms. And they also removed the mirrors from the wall, an employee stated that the mirror had broken which I believe to be untrue as I had been told by an employee during another visit, that they planned on taking them down to discourage customers from trying on clothing. My daughter was trying on clothes in the isle over her own clothes and looking at herself in a mirror that was for sale, an employee came over and moved it and stacked pictures over it when she stepped away to look at another rack nearby, they made her feel uncomfortable. They also refuse to sell any items that are not priced, I find these practices to be very bad retail services and poor marketing procedures. Your inventory is given to you by your community and as a company that I am sure makes a lot of profit off of the community that they serve, you would think you would want to do a better job serving the customers that frequent your business. I have been to many other locations in other areas, the employees are very helpful and accommodating, the restrooms and dressing rooms are open for their customers and they have no problem pricing an item at the register that may not be tagged. Turlock Goodwills NEED to do a better job of serving their community, that so generously provides the items for the establishment to stay in business. I asked for the phone number for the corporate office and the employee refused to give it to me.

Tons of clothes, not very much furniture/housewares, but they have $1.25 books. They had modern classics like Harry Potter and the best find for me was a classic Pokemon handbook
