Went in there today to get propane. I brought in four tanks because if you get over 15 gallons it’s a cheaper price. They stopped me on the last tank at 14.9 gallons so I wouldn’t get the cheaper price. I didn’t say anything at the time because I wasn’t sure if it was just full but sure enough, they shorted me almost 2 gallons. Looks like pinching a few pennies is more important than customers service. They will never see another $ from me.

Being a Lyft driver I came a long distance to Merced. I needed gas and saw Chevron thinking they would be courteous and welcoming as most chevron's tend to be. I purchased gas for my return trip. Upon completion of fuel refill I then asked where the restroom was that I could use. The cashier said yes and a second employee noted to have been moping cut him off saying no in a raised voice and agitated demeanor. Continued to say, "It's out of service with extreme attitude." Its my opinion that this Chevron should be boycotted as it's certainly not appreciative of the consumers who fund the establishment.(RECENTLY EDITED- Originally POSTED PRIOR TO CORONAVIRUS 2 yrs ago)

Being a Lyft driver I came a long distance to Merced. You need gas and saw Chevron thinking of they would be courteous and welcoming as most chevron's tend to be. I purchased gas for my return trip.... And then asked if it was a restroom. The cashier said yes and the sky with mop to no, it's out of service with extreme attitude. I say boycott this Chevron.

Today I stopped at an AmPm down the street from my shop. Asked if someone could fill my large tank with propane. The cashier said yes. I waited for a long time and no attempt was made to call someone at all. I remembered seeing Golden State Food and Gas on yelp. YES! I'm glad I drove a little bit farther ! No hassle! A man came out right away ! I just barely got out of my truck. My tank was large enough that I wouldn't be able to put it back into the bed. It's just too heavy. This man didn't even hesitate. Put the hose up on the side of my tool boxes, jumped up and connected it to my tank. He asked me to flip the on switch, and I gladly did. $2.79 per gallon ! What a deal ! I'll definitely be going back

Bought a hamburger from this place and it had mold on it. And it had been there for a while because it wasn't just a day or 2 of it, it had a big piece of it that had obviously been accumulating . Like the ppl that work there.... Won't buy any food products from there, ever!

Clean friendly and great customer service the manager is really nice. place is always clean, bathroom is always clean, outside is always clean, just an over all clean place. plus the gas is priced very good compared to all the other chevrons in town.
