Awful company to work with! We had their tank on our property when we bought. They didn't know if the 1941 tank was theirs but sent me a bill for the $60/yr rental and didn't fill it since it needed to be replaced. I called when the tank got low about a year later and they waited over a week to respond. By then we were without propane for days and we couldn't cook or shower. We called and tried to get them come by making an appointment, but they were busy and missed the appointment. It was incredibly inconvenient so we messaged them to come get their tank and we would go with another company. Instead they brought out a new tank and partially filled it. Then three weeks later they came and took the tank without warning, leaving us without gas again on the coldest night of the year. I found out they had been here when I tried to make dinner and there was no gas. Use someone more professional.

We are displaced by the creek fire called yesterday around lunch and they had a delivery for me this morning at 7am. Thank you for making this hardship easy for me.

Worst company ever! Just like all the other “rural” routed delivery reviews... They never came (according to them they did). Customer for almost 4 years, and ONE time I have NOT had to call and let them know I am out of propane. I have NEVER been taken off the route...so this weekend when we ran out of propane AGAIN, I was extremely frustrated. Not one single time when they let me tank run out did they offer any type of discount or apology compensation, and I never complained. The last time my tank “ran out” (on a route account mind you). My financial situation had changed and I couldn’t afford for it to be filled. The employee let me know, “no worries our mistake we are sorry. We will put the minimum gallons in so it’s affordable and keep you on the route.” Guy came out propane in, never relit my pilot nothing...So I call this morning to let them know again I am out of propane. All my kids woke up coughing and freezing, cannot shower or cook... and I was informed it was MY fault because I was on WILL CALL... excuse me? I’d never put my account on will call! Who wants to pay those prices and fees?! Not me! So after a lot of my time and energy... their solution was... keeping me on will call, the guy will give me 100 gallons and will work with me on the price per gallon... so instead of $3.49 a gallon they will give it to me for $2.89 a gallon... interesting when the average cost per gallon everywhere else is like $2.40 a gallon right now...In the end California Propane is AWFUL, they take ZERO accountability for their lack of customer service and terrible route services! The manager said over half of their customers are on will call like he was proud... half of your customers are on will cal because your route services ARE GOD AWFUL! Do NOT use this company! Do whatever possible to not use them!If I could give them 0 stars I would!
