I’m not gonna make this too long, but on a trade in I was unable to get what my vehicle’s KBB trade value by about 13 percent, there was a markup that supposedly could not be taken off for security related things, and there was more damage to the vehicle than showed online, glad I went in person. There was clear coat failure on on spot, clear hidden/unreported damage with a shoddy repair job where it looks like a dent was pulled but not all the way, and there was a spot job with someone who clearly doesn’t know how to spray properly, both on the same panel and both are unmentioned and not on carfax or anything. I was willing to still get the car but there was 0 negotiations to be had, was told that the offer is what it is and that’s all, and so I had to turn it down. Hate to say it but in a way felt like a scam. Would of had to be about 4-5 thousand more than I should be paying.

Gilbert is by far the best salesman I’ve ever worked with quick, easy, and never felt any pressure to make a decision i did not want to.

I called to see if a vehicle that I had found online was still available. Victor answered the phone, said it was there and he would have it in front when I came in and please ask for Victor. Went in and Victor was standing right there. Car was not brought over, so he went to get and when he came back he had someone with him. He said this is JJ he's in the sales I am in finance. JJ showed us the car and we decided to buy it. Paying cash for the car. we signed papers and gave out social's. I asked on multiple occasions if and why our credit was being pulled when we are paying cash. He reassured me again and again our credit would not be ran. We finish up and drive away with the car. Only to have an email the next morning that there was an inquiry on my credit. Was not happy to say the least. Went in to take the cashiers check and questioned as to why when I paid cash. The gentleman that entered the info said JJ didn't say anything until after he was done and then told him. He told JJ to make sure to let us know. Then the was a new guy sitting behind the desk and very irragantly said "ma'am we have to run your credit to verify identity." They had our id's! I said well you need to make sure to tell your employees to tell customers this because pretty sure a lot of people would've walked out. Also, I was told when I brought the car back to get detailed that it would be waxed. Once again dude behind the desk basically said that wasn't gonna be done. I said well I was told it would (more than once). So long story short employees need to be clear on the procedures and once promised something it needs to be followed through. I love the car but the customer service sure didn't give good vibes. AND turn up the air conditioner in there!

JJ was extremely curtious and helped me through out my entire way , from the very first start when getting pre qualified. The process didn’t take long at all to get approved and sign the paperwork. Overall I am happy with my purchase!

Great service and great deals. I worked with Gilbert, he’s great at what he does. He’s been in the business for a very long time and is very professional. I drove all the way from Sacramento to purchase my new GMC Sierra from him, passing up many dealerships in my area.I would highly recommend working with Gilbert for your next vehicle purchase from Bonander. .

I appreciate the long winded explanation and the amount of time you spent on it. However, for future; I'd just suggest replying that you don't provide that service. Only because I did get that from another business, and you still ended up responding to my review, which I probably would not have made. I completely understand that Yelp has the quote system set up that way, and they should fix that issue or attempt to set up an automated reply for some cases. I definitely would drive a great distance for service. I also noticed I was asking for Glass quote and tire shops were included, I understand your pain with Yelp. Thanks for your response

So many car buying experiences go south, so let's start with the positives. Gilbert is an excellent salesman and seems to be an all-around nice guy. Also as with any used car purchase the dealership was very nice and accommodating when selling the vehicle to me. So, I will lay out the whole experience now. I contacted Bonander about a GMC Denali they were advertising. I needed to lower my payment and this vehicle looked like it would suit the bill and make my wife happy. Gilbert held the Denali for me until I got there, and I arrive just before closing. We took it for a test-drive and I checked out everything I could think of to make sure the car wasn't a piece of junk. It drove fine but I noticed a couple issues right away which we negotiated into the sale. The heated seats needed repairs and I wanted a second key as it only had one. We agreed on terms for price, financing and they included a due bill for repairs of the seat and the replacement key. They even agreed to bring me a loaner to my house and shuttle the Denali back for the repairs. Pretty excellent up to this point. I left happy and drove my new car home. They included a trial of On-Star so I set it up on my way home and noticed right away that the Navigation thinks it's in a lake in Canada, not in the Valley in California. I spoke briefly with the On-Star rep about this and she advised me to call the technical department during business hours. Three days later I called the technical department. The reason the GPS thinks that it's in Canada is because the module is likely bad. Now I'm unhappy, the vehicle was advertised as having GPS. It's going to cost about $1400 to fix it. Now, I bought it without a warranty but this is not something that failed while I was driving it, it was never working and it was advertised to have it. I notified Gilbert via text, (always use text because you have a record of every conversation) He said he would talk to the dealership management about it and get back to me. He never did. So here we are three weeks later, they sent a very rough loaner SUV for my wife to use while her luxury SUV was being repaired, which is fine I guess but you may as well have sent a Honda. They had the vehicle for a week, it just came back today and Viola the seats work! However, The key fob isn't programmed, the laser cut key was not sent back with the vehicle. Gilbert says they will take care of it, but zero mention of the Navigation, and now when they returned it the driver's side running boards are making noise. The lights are flickering, and it is slow cranking. I'm feeling like they got me good. I realize Gilbert is just the salesman and seems like a genuine guy, but this dealership seems like a typical bag full of snakes otherwise so far. If the dealership decides to address this I will gladly take this down but this is how my experience has gone so far. Buyer beware.

Was attempting to purchase a vehicle long distance, put down $1000 to hold the car. The first contract they sent me they snuck in a $5k service package. They harassed me all during the week of Christmas to return the revised contract, I mailed them back after new yrs, and then I never heard from them again. They took my $1k and ghosted me. Absolutely unprofessional and 100% crooks
