The staff need to be replaced, I’ve banked with them for more than 10 years, recently I had to go to the branch for some transaction. The staff weee so rude and unprofessional.

Circling the drain... Recently, The Bank of the West Turlock, California Branch was acquired (?) by BMO Bank; unsure of precisely what the BMO represents. So far the customer service at this location still lacks; much.... Long lines inside the branch and tellers/personnel moving at a snail's pace; as if there was no line; they don't apologize effectively or sincerely in this ridiculous excuse for a Federally Insured Bank. Someone with ill-will, could rob this branch with no sense of urgency in how to behave. from the lazy employees. It's as if they are unpleasant & unhelpful robots; not the correct image for a Federally Insured Bank. Truthfully. They changed their name with no prior notice that I can recall or warning. They charge a monthly fee just for having the checking account. I phoned them and they agreed to permanently waive the monthly fee. I noted it first on a statement, & that is not the way expenses demanded should be delivered. Their online platform crashes constantly as well, making online banking & transfers etc. impossible; not nearly impossible; impossible. I want and need the original Bank of the West back in exchange for the removal of the BMO logo and etc.. Clean house here as well please. Fire every single employee and start afresh. I'm a great "read" on humans. Is there a public restroom here? Wouldn't know, I've never seen one, the bank is tiny-small; I mean tiny small. I think by law a commode for the "public" must be working and in place at all times. I think it's the 'if it's not broken; don't fix it' motto; besides the chronically plagued defective NOT customer service orientated schedule, of the lazy employees is the most troublesome. This is OUR MONEY you are touching, moving, playing, and toying with like messing with the brakes on a vehicle; DO NOT DO THAT. I need my personal account(s) restored to the Bank of the West standards & Logo which have been alive & well for decades. As a matter of fact, my mother shared with me recently that my grandmother; her mother used to bank at Bank of the West; decades and decades before her untimely passing... And the BEAR! The mascot for Bank of the West is a gorgeous Bear that relaxed me; BMO has a silly Fred Flinstone archaic vibe in vibe & appearance; it's very distasteful. What does BMO stand for anyway? BMO.com says it stands for this: "Bank of Montreal BMO Financial Group means Bank of Montreal and its affiliates that provide deposit, investment, loan, securities, trust, insurance & other products and services." Source: So it's a Canadian bank then? Appears that way. Not sure how I can reconcile banking with a non-made-in-the-USA financial institution. Maybe Montreal is more financially "secure" than our banking system here in the states? I don't know but, whoever selected the lettering, Fred Flinstone flagstone vehicle and rock-tires, "orange-red" verses a beautiful shade of burgundy (ombre) and black maybe, needs new glasses and taste because it's blinding and leaves one wondering what the BMO stands for & wondering why I'm banking here anymore. First off, the employees at this location are amazing and this review is no reflection on them.Ever since BMO took over its been an absolute nightmare. they froze my debit card on a Friday evening and I couldn't get ahold of customer service until Monday morning. They said they froze my card for an unusual purchase, a reoccurring payment that I have made plenty of times before. They then said I am required to respond to them with an confirmation on every purchase I make, which did not sit well with me at all.fast forward couple weeks later to today and I'm forced to reset my password because they said my current one was wrong. App refused to acknowledge my fingerprint despite everything else accepting it.it's seems like it's time to find find another bank.update 11/15/2023 after another incident with this bank again. will be closing my account and switching to another bank.

I have had my debit card on file to pay for city water. Today I get and find an announcement that the payment was denied. Called customer service and they said it was due to invalid expiration date. While on the phone with them I did t the payment on on line with the expiration date and it went through! Called customer service yesterday about a other issue a and was advised the had a high call volume and got hung up on. BMO should have had everything done for the switch over. Not impressed with new bank.

This bank is a fraud. My money 940$ was stolen from the account they put it back of 280$ Im keep calling from 5 months nobody gave me any proof for the rest of the amount. Moving my account to another bank

This branch was once a favorite of mine. Not so much now. I used to be able to complete my transactions quickly but lately lines take so long to move. And what's going on with the drive-up window? Guess that was nice while it lasted. How about another ATM?! Besides manager, Melissa Larry, I don't find a majority of the staff very friendly. They also seem to have new faces every few weeks. It's nice to build rapport with tellers but that's not so easy with a high turnover. I think it's time for me to consider another bank. They may have joined BMO but for me, it's BMO also - Best to Move On.

Very nice personnel from bankers to tellers side. Great mobile payment reader that came with my business account too! Today I had a third party isuue and the bankers and branch manager went the extra mile to help me prove the proper dispute for my case to be escalated to the Resolution center as should have been from the start with the third party. Thanks for the patience with us, understanding and helping me out with that dreadful call to them, much appreciated!

The line is always super long the tellers are extra slow and I always have fees popping up in my banking account checking and savings constantly, its free, besides the random fees they charge you

Lines going outside in the hot sun. No merchant window open. They closed their drive through last year and never reopened it. Customers are yelling at each other. It's awful.
