I live down the street and off of W. Greenway Avenue & have been frequenting this Lander location for greater than 6 years now, and it's alright. They added an extra side of brand new pumps from the look of them, which has made me a more satisfied gasoline/petrol consumer because there are no longer the uber-long lines of vehicles and people waiting for their turn at the original pumps. Uber long lines have vanished & this consumer is grateful, more relaxed when purchasing the gas/petrol and just overall feel less rushed when pumping gas/petrol. I'm satisfied with the cleanliness of the inside of the store, the cashiers who manage the "new" addition of petrol pumps on the opposite side of the new pumps and the lack of those with animals (makes me sad ;/ who seem to be living with no accommodations of their own... I feel so badly for the animals that seem to live with these ?homeless? individuals. Especially in the winter and hot summer sun shining down on the concrete and asphalt for their little doggie feet/paws. I am uncertain if the Newer ARCO petrol/gas station, a few blocks down and past & under the freeway over-pass (there is only 1 overpass in this area) there has repaired their NEW Carwash. It offers onsite washes for like $7 I think the prices start at, but I've found deep scratches on the backside of the passenger side mirror of my 2005 Chevy Tahoe that were not there prior to the first wash. You can pay for the wash when you use the outdoors petrol pump; it will flash an advertisement on the screen for the carwash. You cannot beat the price however they need to have someone "staff" the carwash as they come outside to greet you once you make your way from the pump to the carwash. I have scratches on my vehicle and or permanent marks from what looks like the carwash brush(es) and that is unsatisfactory. Not bringing to their attention, as they always seem understaffed and in a rush at the front counter; more times than not. Now back to this under-the-over-pass gas station with a new pump addition. .35 cents to use your ATM/VISA. It seems like a fair deal but what exactly does it pay for? They need to have a sign there explaining this fee and the font needs to be at least 20 or larger in-size, for those handicapped and or with an eye condition. Customer Service: They talk more amongst themselves and not the paying consumer. This occurs behind the indoor register/counter area. They speak in a language other than English that I do not know/unfamiliar with. English is my birth and the only language I comprehend & speak. Unfortunately, they are in no hurry for each paying customers transaction as the lines can be lengthy even though there are at least 2-3 employees standing behind the counters. Come one? Really? That doesn't sound nor look to be a customer-orientated strategy. It is rude to speak in another language when in a country where English is clearly the default &/or primary language. Our original Constitution document/decree is & always has been, English, to my knowledge, the primary language in the USA and still is. When in doubt; look at a country's Constitutional Amendments? which should tell you the default language at the time of the creation of the document. The scratches are also on the sides of my vehicle and rear-hatch side as well and they won't buff out or disappear regardless of the gentle nature of a cotton towel offers. Enough about this subject... Please repair the carwash brushes. or use an automobile with mirrors similar to my 05' Tahoe to test the experience and see if your vehicle is clearly damaged (can't buff out the scratches). Then move forward to contacting those who on tape or not, clearly have areas damaged; that were or were not present, prior to the carwash. This should aid you in awareness & arm you with viable & fair consumer resolutions. :) (NOTE: These photos were just taken at apx. 6:15 AM today (02-08-2024) PST.THank you AM/PM for this awesome concept of a carwash/fillup with Petrol o

Prices are Arco cheap, and it has recently been remodeled. It's pretty good overall for a gas station stop.

Penalty payment for using a credit card. Who carries $100 in cash to fill up their car? Clean mini Mart with a decent selection. Relatively clean bathroom.

It's not Arcos fault but this location is just awful. To pull in you have to go all the way around to the right and turning left back towards the freeway is lander road which is a steady stream of traffic with no stop sign or stop light because its one of the only ways to get from Hilmar to Turlock or the freeway. You may get stuck here for 10 minutes or more no exaggeration. Certain hours of the day traffic stops and backs up hundreds of car lengths back with the occasional tractor or 2 and you just have to sit and wait.

I asked for 2 lottery tickets and the cashier gave me 3 and charged me. She said we can't cancel the charge. She said good luck. I've noticed that cashiers don't listen, this has happened to me more than once. Other than that this Arco station has a lot of gas pumps. The convenience store looks well stocked with products. Soda and coffee dispensers are available. This Arco station is located on the southern side of Hwy 99 and Lander in Turlock. Unbelievable, there is another Arco station on the northern side of Lander and Hwy 99. I go to this one way more often.
