My puppy was hit by a truck at 6am I drove down to Lone Oak got there at 7:30 when they opened. The lady sitting at the desk was the rudest lady I have ever met working at a vet. She was appalled that I brought my little Deebo in to be seen. Her words were "I can't see him, I couldn't do that to my other patients." As nobody else was there!! So I frantically get on the phone and Call TVH. The ladies at the front desk were a delight. They said that the Dr. Was in surgery but to bring him in asap and he would see him. Less than an hour we were on our way home knowing Deebo was going to be ok with a little love and pain meds, they didn't take advantage of us and they genuinely wanted to help my baby. I will forever be Grateful to Dr. Sagartz

Very very pricey, came for just vaccines for my cat and called over on the phone and they told me it was going to be around $70 and they ended up charging me over $190 !! They said the visit itself to just bring your pet is $66 do not bring your pet here find other places with cheaper prices and no hidden fees I couldn't do anything because they brought me the list once she was inside out of my hands!

They were able to get me in quickly, but I didn't like that I couldn't go back with my dog. I also felt like I was "suckered" into paying $60 for a flea and tick chew that my dog did not need. They come out and talk to you in the waiting area while your animal is in the back, like they know you're vulnerable at that moment and get you to pay for things you don't really need because you're worried. Terrible tactic, which I fell for. Next time I will demand that I go in the back with my animal. I deserve to meet the vet that is working on my animals.

Even if this if your last resort, do not take your babies here for an emergency. These people all they care is about money . I had my puppy with Parvo took him in as soon as I saw him p*** diarrhea. They said it could be parvo, they did a quick test and it came positive. They offered to cure him and keep him over night for $1800. Came next day and my baby was worse they called me saying to pick him up and if I wanted to take him to the ER in Visalia. As I was talking to them I kept asking is there something you guys can do or how is he doing the lady kept on asking me for $900 I kept telling her I made a deposit of $1000 and that they were going to get their cash just to care for him. Lady kept saying I do see a balance of $900. I ended up picking up my puppy and now is being treated needless to say my baby came out of that vet worse than how he went it. Please don't use their bad service

I took my two dogs in for vaccinations the aide came out to waiting room asked questions then took them back. One of my dogs got pain on her leg that night and was very listless. I was so worried. They said it was routine to give shots on leg. I've always seen it done on back of neck. Very cruel to dog No explanation as to what was done behind the back office

I took my dog in for a second opinion for swelling he had on his neck. When I called them and mentioned what was going on with him they were able to see him right away that same day. Within some minutes they were able to identify what was causing the swelling and treat him. They saved my pups life. All the staff were so caring and sympathetic to my situation. I couldn't be more grateful to everyone at Tulare Veterinary Hospital. I'm especially grateful to Bethany and Dr. Sagartz for taking such good care of my dog.

UNPROFESSIONAL . HIDDEN CHARGES . THEY DONT CARE ABOUT YOUR PET YOUR JUST ANOTHER NUMBER. I came in to get my 4 month old puppy dewormed. I called ahead of time and was told the first client visit was 58$ w/t a complimentary dewormer. When I arrived, they did a consultation and took my puppy in the back to be checked on. I wanted to go back with them but it didn't seem they were taking people back there???. Then they asked for a stool sample. I had to ask all the questions about side affects, how much they gave her, how to prevent this from happening again etc. Im a new dog owner so I assumed they would give me a brochure or more information about deworming dogs. I checked out and the total was not the 58$. Front desk told me that they charged for the stool sample. But another client in the waiting room had a breakdown of the charges he was getting and was even asked if that price was okay. I got eyes rolled at me cause I complained no one told me what I was paying for like the other gentlemen in the room. End of the story, they don't ell you how much everything is until the end, staff is really unprofessional, ( front desk receptionist was on Pinterest / Shopping the whole time), When I told her I didnt want the stool sample, I got eyes rolled at me & I had to ask for a brochure on how to take care of my puppy. MONEY WASNT WORTH IT. I could have just gotten an 8$ dewormer at target. This was supposed to be an informational and pleasant visit and now I just feel sick to my stomach about bringing my pet here.

I've had several family members take pets here and I have heard nothing but heart wrenching stories then I read reviews and see many more stories the owner of this practice needs to step in and or the staff needs to be changed you cannot run a business like this... I work at a vet few hours away and my family members call me asking for advice my advice to them was to take the pet somewhere else. Shame on you and when I called the reception to ask the Drs name her response to me was "why" I told her I was interested in brining my pet there. She puts me on hold picks the phone back up and says okay sorry I thought you were someone else....Very very very unprofessional..

DO NOT BRING YOUR PET HERE. Terrible people. Terrible service. They are money hungry and never put the care of your pet first like it should be. I've had my own terrible experience here when I brought my pup in & ive recently just read another horrible tragic event that occurred because of this place. I also noticed that there are "24 reviews not recommended" at the very bottom of the page and it is all their negative reviews. So the only ones being shown are the good. BE CAREFUL.

Dr. Michael Sagartz is TERRIBLE!!!! Tulare Veterinarians Hospital. WORST VET EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. No professional AT ALL. Very Rude Workers at the front desk and other Vet Techs giving dirty looks after the situation escalated. I do really appreciate the Vet tech who helped us. Taylor. DR. Michael Sagartz in the other hand, took me in to the room and stated "I am about done with you" pointing his finger at me and yelling at me while there was a waiting room full of about 5 people. Yelled at me over the phone not letting my discuss my concerns or ask any questions.

Please read through the reviews before bringing your pet here. This business needs to be shut down.
