I go to this Dollar General often. It's nothing really special. I more or less go here because it's just convenient. Customer service is just okay. The place seems disorganized and cluttered. Sometimes I will go here for a cold drink but then remember that their refrigerators aren't really ever stocked up with a good selection of cold drinks... and there is definitely a lot of empty space to fill the refrigerators if they wanted to. Most of their selection is on the shelf sitting at room temperature. I do not like the layout of the store. Especially where the over-the-counter medicines or bathroom items are... it's a really tight area and for some reason they tend to keep crates full of items to stock in the aisles which takes up a lot of room. There are a lot of out-of-stock items and at the same time there are a lot of overstocked items or some things look just piled up. I like the prices. Can't really complain about that part. Their food selection also seems pretty decent. Overall it's not a bad place to shop for a quick item or two

this is for dollar general tulare ca north j street, i love this store, everything i need, the store is always clean, the employees are awesome courteous and helpful, highly recomend

It’s 9:49PM and doors are locked. Gate is closed. Online it shows they close at 10pm!!! ??

I love shopping there and the staff are very welcoming the place is looking cleaner and I even seen an employee come out of pocket to help pay for this gentleman's groceries and just a little word of advice you can go anywhere and find anything you need but if you're not welcomed then it makes you not want to shop luckily I did not experience this negativity at Dollar general they've really gained a loyal customer great staff but they NEED TO HIRE A LOSS PREVENTION PERSON SO THE THEFTS GO DOWN ITS A BILLION DOLLAR COMPANY THEY CAN AFFORD IT

They fired me for no reason,then I collected 18k off unemployment during covid and it wasn't even taxed lol this place is depressing also most the foods already expired .

I went today 11/4/21, and I found some great deals one some little girl shoes and this Mexican worker scanned them and she changed the prices and DID NOT let me take them in the price I had found them in. I had even scanned them and there where a penny each and she had the nerve to change the price and so the the manager. This was at the Tulare dollar general on j st.
