Just know before you go, call ahead. The knowing and head Refinisher is usually out on calls, but he will usually high tail it back to the shop to meet you. I have had Chris re-glued and touched up, and they have done a solid fine job. Don't hesitate to have your wooden chairs sured up for another long run of use at Alicia's Furniture Refinishing. And BTW, there is no Alicia there, but Bob will do just fine.

This place is great. Dick and his staff do tremendous work. Dick restored a 1945 bedroom set to its original condition for us. It looks beautiful and perfect. Dick is knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Dick came and picked it up at my in-laws in Modesto, and delivered it to the Bay Area. The pricing was great, much cheaper than in the Bay Area, and no one around here would even attempt the job because of its complexity and labor intensity. We also sent Dick back to Tulare with a couple of drawer guides that needed to be remade. They are already ready (this was on Saturday and it is now Wednesday). Dick is going to ship them back to me. I cannot recommend Alecia's Furniture Refinishing enough. I will definitely use them again.
