Called ahead of time for pricing for a trim for my 6 year old. Stated I didn't want a wash or anything else but just a simple trim.
Once at the salon got a different price range
And was told I needed to come back in 20 minutes even though there were 2 other employees that were not servicing any other customer. The price they gave me was extremely expensive for just a trim for a 6 year old.
Felt unwelcome and disappointed because I had done my research
Had good reviews and made it seem like they were friendly. When I called a day before I explained my child was autistic they sounded friendly and welcoming but Story changed the next day
Made me feel unwelcome and rejected
Not child friendly
Only willing to serve people they know
NOT OPEN TO NEW CUSTOMERS!

I've been feeling the need for a change so before I could chicken out, I called Salon Oh to see if they had any same day appointments. I was lucky enough to get in that afternoon with Sandy and I'm so happy with my entire experience. She listened and explained so well and away we went. Got a great scalp massage during my wash from Alona (hope I'm spelling that right). The ladies here were super skilled and super cool. Loved it!!

So. I reside in the San Fernando Valley. I had paid a lot for a Balayage awhile ago (September 2023) and from the jump I didn't like it. I told them and they "fixed" it but I still didn't like it so I didn't go back. Salon Oh! Is a cozy place with passionate people who care about quality and especially about you feeling great when you leave. I believe you'd be in good hands with anyone there. They fixed my San Fernando hair and now it's what I wanted originally. They just get it. They get hair, they get humans. They're pretty dope. I got a scalp massage, a hair wash/ condition, toner, cut, dry and curl! It was fast but not rushed. IYKYK Going back because I genuinely loved the service and the outcome. I'll update my next post/ review with photos. I'm also getting eyebrows done next time so I'm excited to share that outcome too.

Jackie was absolutely wonderful. She is super welcoming and professional. She was honest and realistic about my hair expectations and gave me such a beautiful cut & color. I'm 7 months pregnant and wanted to freshen up before baby and Jackie did her thing!!! Thank you so much!!!!

Mannie made my transformation from red to blonde on first visit. No hair damage. Mannie knows what the h he is doing for sure. Wanting to grow my hair and he suggested a razor cut bob. Can hardly wait for that. The blonde not how I am wearing it now it has already grown.

Called for an appt the day of and they were able to do 2 haircuts within 2 hours of my call. Services: my daughter has a lil fear of getting her haircut and Sandra was so wonderful! She saved the hair and made me and my daughter feel safe! Halfway through her haircut, Shayla started washing my hair and got me set up for my haircut. Prices are a lil high but I feel like it was worth it. It gives high end vibes! Consultation: they listen, they were able to give feedback, and communicate during the cuts. Overall: I think I will come back but stagger when I go to make sure it doesn't break the bank.
