I had the identical experience with Jason who is arrogant and completely ignores you if you don't have a newer car and you don't let him just make any repairs he feels like charging for. He likes customers who don't ask questions and have the money to just let him do whatever he wants. He also wanted to charge 300 more than the dealer for a repair. Needless to say I took it to the dealer.10/18/2016These guys SUCK! Maybe they are okay if you own a newer Honda, but beware if you take in your older car. And the owner Jason has an attitude, doesn't listen to the customer! I ended up taking my 1986 Accord to the dealer instead, they fixed the problem that Jason' crew couldn't & charged less. So there it is, you have been WARNED!Sally

I bought a new Honda Accord 2 years ago. I got a flat tire, fixed it but the light kept turning on, telling me to put air in the tire. Went to the dealership 6 times in 2 weeks. They gave me the runaround . I was so upset because it's still a new car! A friend suggested Calling Jason. I merely described the issue over the phone and right away, he knew what it was. He told me to come by. I did and his demeanor and expertise blew me away. The guy is amazing, fair and honest. Won't take it anywhere else.

Absolutely love Jason's Honda. I have come in for so many different reasons and Jason has always taken care of me quickly and with care. I'm grateful I've never had a big issue with my car, but I'm also thankful that any little issues I've had have been dealt with quickly by Jason and his team. They don't make you feel d*** like many other mechanics, and I've never felt rushed out of the shop with any of my little issues. Hopefully I won't have any big issues with my car, but I know who I'll come to if I do.

Jason is a great guy and runs a good mechanic shop, but I think a few things could be improved. Here's my experience: My partner and I drive an Acura TL 2006. Jason's repair shop has been recommended to us as the "absolute best mechanic shop for Honda's and Acura's" so of course we were excited to get help from a place with such a great reputation. The first time we got in touch for help with our key fobs. We got the number of a guy who came over with a generic Acura key fob to set up a third key fob for the car, which he charged about $150 for. What's interesting is that the original key fob #2 stopped working after this. Also, about three months later, the #3 key he set up stopped opening the trunk. So this didn't feel particularly great. We then took the car to Altadena Brake Masters for some help with an oil change, which broke the digital clock in the Acura. My partners family has gone to that shop for quite a while, so that's why he took the car there. A while later, we came back to Jason because something had gone wrong either with the battery or the starter. The car wouldn't start up, so I had called AAA and when they showed up they said that the starter was malfunctioning. I drive the car for a few days and the diagnosis made sense: it regularly took me about 3-6 attempts at starting the car to actually get it running. We also asked Jason for help with the rear view mirror (kept falling out) and the cassette tape player, which had stopped working entirely. We learned that they couldn't help us with fixing the cassette tape player or adding an AUX cable into the car, and that we'd need to get the number of some other new specialist to help with that. The car was dropped off on a Thursday with no information re: when we'd be able to pick it up. Jason called us on Saturday to say it would be ready by Tuesday. I had an expectation that it would be ready by Monday - I'm not sure if I just made that up in my head based on nothing though. But I was really aching to have the car as I had spent a weekend in LA without it, which is rough. After picking it up, my partner drove to a lookout point in the mountains that has no service to meditate. Once he got back in the car to drive home, it wouldn't start up. So he had to walk all the way down until he got cell service and call AAA to get help. At that point the AAA guy said it was a battery problem, which he solved by putting distilled water in the battery, since he didn't have a new one to replace it with. Fed up with this, my partner sent the Acura back to Altadena Brake Masters, asking them to Please Not Screw Up The Clock Again. I don't really understand why they unfortunately screwed it up again, but now I have to take the car back to Jason's or someplace else that can actually help out with things that matter to me - like Acura key fobs and Acura sound systems. It's incredibly frustrating to not have your car in your own possession for an entire week, for your mechanic to hold it (outdoors btw, so I had to go and take it to a car wash just to scrub off all the debris it collected from sitting outside doing nothing) for so long - only to give you back a car with a document that says the battery has been checked - and for you to end up stranded because the battery was in fact, malfunctioning. Personally I just want to drive a car that is safe, has an accurate time reading, functioning music system, with doors that I can open with my key fob. The fact that I have to distribute all these tasks between an infinite amount of specialists is just exhausting and annoying. Particularly when I specifically looked for a mechanic shop with a reputation for expertise in my specific vehicle make. In general I do think that Jason's auto shop is a place with excellent, talented people who are honest about their diagnoses of car issues and know Honda's and Acura's quite well. The cost for repairs has also typically been very reasonable, which is absolutely appreciated. I just

Outstanding service and great pricing - no ripoffs here. We have been taking our Hondas and Toyotas here for several years. Yesterday my 9 yr. old Prius was acting up with lights blinking and wouldn't turn off. I called Jason at noon, he immediately diagnosed the problem (dead battery) and ordered a new one and told me to get it jumped and drive on over. The battery was installed and ready to go by 2:15pm. Jason doesn't sell you on things you don't need and is well-versed in Prius technology - I know because we take our 3 Priuses there.

I went in thinking I had a malfunctioning engine a few months back. I turned out the noise I thought was the engine was coming from the AC unit, but there were a couple other issues I hadn't noticed since it was a while since my last tune-up. They pointed it out after the initial inspection and called me to tell me exactly what needed to be fixed, as well as what I was experiencing, without doing it first and charging me afterward--unlike other auto shops. Since then my Honda-CRV has been running smoothly and I couldn't be happier with my investment.

I have been bringing my cars to Jason's for over 15 years. I have received excellent treatment, great communication, and fair prices. When I moved out of the area I still brought my car to Jason because of the confidence I had in the service!

Excellent place. Knowledgeable, thorough and systematic shop. You want to go here first. They take time to assess problems then offer you good options. People come from all over SoCal, longtime customers. It's not by accident.
