As a car mechanic, it should be your priority to make sure you do a sufficient job fixing your customer's car, and your customer's safety should also be a priority for you. I will never return to this business as I no longer trust them.

So helpful! I needed new brakes on all four wheels and had my car worked on in about 10 minutes after arriving. The owner was pleasant and efficient. The quote was considerably lower than other places I checked out. I highly recommend this one.

I have a 2012 Toyota Camry that needs regular maintenance. I am so happy with the service I have received from Anthony and his father. They have fixed all 4 of my breaks, 2 of my struts and also my alternator and belt. My car runs like brand new now! I feel they give me the best price for my repairs and always mindful of my time. I totally trust these men with all our auto repair needs. My mother even goes here as well she has an older Model Nissan Sentra.

My wife had an issue with her car and we decided to take it Barev's, cause we know it will be taken care of. We found out that it's under new ownership, and we wouldn't have even know the difference if it wasn't for seeing difference faces. They still do a professional job, service with a smile. This is the type of mechanic shop that is family owned and people you can count on. They make sure that your car is prepared for the road rather than just trying to make a quick buck! If you're looking for a legit Mechanic, I would definitely recommend Barkev's!!

Was quoted the least expensive price for a US made Interstate Battery in the area with a 24 month warranty. I said ok, I will take it (George sold the shop and it is now owned by Narak and his father.) When Narak brought out the new battery it had a 12 month warranty sticker on it. Narak said no problem, crossed out the 12 month and wrote down 24 months on the battery and receipt. Today's batteries don't last like they used to so I expect when I order a 24 month battery to be given a 24 month battery and hopefully won't have any problems and have to go back in. Narak said they would honor the 24 month period regardless of what it says on the battery, so as long as the battery lasts 2 years or they replace it if it needs replacing before 31Oct20, I am happy with the price and service.

My car started making a terrible noise off the freeway in La Crescenta..I cancelled my client and carefully limped my little prius to Barkevs. I was pleasantly greeted by Anthony?...he took my keys, conferred with his co worker and diagnoised it as brakes and said he could fix it immediately. He offered me a ride home as the job would take a couple of hours. He was cheerful and polite. Over the years I have trusted Barkev and George, both have moved on. It was a pleasant surprise that the business has been kept in the family. The brake job (pads only) was reasonable. (After the fact I did my homework) The work was quick, the customer service was awesome ! I am happy to still have a local mechanic I can trust with my car !!! Thank you !
