As a local, I'm bummed. I called because my 1yo's beloved Jellycat went missing inside Target while running errands out in Reno prior to the call. (If you have a child that can't do anything without a specific lovey, you know the stress I was feeling, frantically calling every local kids store we frequent.) I was very clear, polite and concise on the phone. "Hi, just wondering if you carry Jellycats, more specifically the Bashful Bunny?" In which the lady rudely said "no, you should try the gallery. I have paying customers here in store, I have to go"*Click* SO thrown off, I asked one question and I could not even say "thank you". Not sure if it's my out of town area code or this lady just straight up does not have any sense of customer service. If you're SOOOO busy with paying customers in store why didn't you ask me to please hold when you said "hello?". This is not the first time I have gotten rude vibes from the middle+ aged woman working in this store. I'll stick to Jack + Emmy from now on.

We love the tree house. They frequently have sales and have an amazing selection of See Kai Run shoes (our favorite!). They have all their shoes out on a rack and they wrote down the sizes the shoes are available in. Then the employee will go grab the corresponding shoe. So helpful especially with two toddlers! The workers have always been nice as well. The store can be a little overstimulating but it's easy enough to handle. As a local, I'll continue to frequent this business.

Owner was very rude, will not support a business of such a rude lady that does not show the same respect to all customers. Clothing is over priced as well

The owner is unbelievably rude and not welcoming. Tried to apply for a job and she seemed very hateful to her workers. Canceled the interview & i do not recommend supporting a business like this

If I could give a zero I would. This was absolutely appalling how the worker at this store acted with my eight year old daughter. Happened to be referred to go here to purchase my daughter some pants because we accidentally spilled hot chocolate on her jeans at the restaurant. I was busy looking for my pants with my daughter behind me and the owner approached my daughter to say "you need to raise your mask above your nose like THE REST OF US, and follow guidelines." When I tell you the tone she had was seriously disgusting. One. Don't address my child. Two. There's other polite ways you can say things, & three. SHES A CHILD there were other CHILDREN in the shop without masks yet you approach my African American daughter? The owner is disgusting, and after looking at her other reviews on here this is not her first rodeo. Definitely do not support this business! If you wanted to be handled rudely and disrespected this would be the place to go. I was in shock honestly, and all the other shops were so attentive and sweet. For someone to own this A CHILDRENS STORE & to be so disrespectful to CHILDREN is beyond me. Watch how you talk to people, and for the record If she is going to stick with the mask mandate in her store I highly suggest don't stand in the door way of your store and talk to TWO OTHER WHITE PEOPLE INFRONT OF THEIR FACES WITH NO MASKS ON to tell them what had happened. DISGUSTING! Don't support. Never again will my family & I be be back. Either hire a new manager or don't give them their business. CORRECTION * she was a worker! Even than hire nice people, period.

Very friendly and helpful. Wish i was still a kid. Lots of puzzles to choose from but we ended up with one of those wooden 3d cut models.

Went in on Thursday early evening with my 14 month old son. We got two toys which we were excited about but, wow, the owner is rude! I'm a local and I love supporting my local retail but I don't think I'll be back.

Lindy provided great customer service when I needed to exchange an outfit we received as a gift for a larger size. She was very kind and accommodating. I'm so glad my little one will be able to wear this cute outfit all summer!

This store is a select shop for kid's stuffs. They sell the fanciest and most stylish kid's clothes ever!! My daughter and I love the clothes they sell.

If there was an option for 1/2 star, I would have only given that. The customer service I received by the OWNER of the store was less than acceptable! I worked in retail for twenty years and never would have treated somebody the way I was treated TWICE! We own a 2nd home in the area and frequent the store spending a lot of money on our grandchildren. Last weekend was a very busy weekend in Truckee and I was willing to be patient and social distance and wait my turn in line. When it was my turn the items that I chose outside on the clearance rack were rung up by the owner, one item rung up 1/2 off and I thought it was marked $10. I told her I did not want it then and she continued to lecture me on how she has to pay her lease and employees and cannot sell everything for $10... Anyway I listened told her I understand signed my receipt and left. When I got home, I realized that she charged me for 4 items when I only had 3. I came back a week later for my adjustment, and she was far more rude than the previous week, pushing my card back at me asking me to move my bag and telling me that she 'will trust that that is what happened' I have Never felt so mistreated in a retail shop! I will NEVER spend another nickel at this establishment! Shame on you! I hope you don't treat all customers this way! COVID has nothing to do with the way I was treated!

If I could give this store SIX stars, I would. I live in southern CA and visited this store to buy toys for grandchildren. When I returned home I found a couple of the toys were defective. I contacted the store and they IMMEDIATELY credited my card. I also thought a puzzle piece was missing and they credited my card for the cost of the puzzle. Later I found the piece and wanted them charge my card for it.Their response was, "It's on the house, enjoy". FABULOUS customer service.
