Do not support this place if at all possible. Not a fair product at a fair price. I understand charging people higher if you are in very remote place but this place is right off of the interstate 80. This place is seriously gouging people and should not be supported.

Conveniently located; Very expensive.Costco regular gas costs just under $4.00/gal in Sacramento and $3.84 at the Reno Costco but $6 at this Shell station. Unfortunately, like too many businesses in Truckee Donner - prices extracted from skiers often exceed Bay Area prices for equivalent services. Pump as little as you can get away with and go somewhere else.

old white lady who was smoking cigarettes outside of a gas station was INCREDIBLY racist and rude to my dad and i. she insisted that we pay before we were even done pouring our coffee and kept making weird remarks. while we were parked outside and getting situated my dad was on the phone with my mom and she came up to us and insisted we leave or she would call CHP (there was NO loitering signs anywhere) this is disgusting and i hope she gets fired soon

I needed a set of chains for my trailer as I could not proceed without them. I was told this place sells them. I pulled in but was told they don’t take my company credit card. I found another place to bring me chains. The owner/manager told me to get the hell off his property and wait elsewhere. What kind of place is this. Unbelievable! So if you have a mechanical issue and cannot proceed and happen to pull in here, get ready to be told off. Rude and not a bit of humanity here!!

Freezing temperature windshield wash cones with a paper funnel! Yes! Also bought gas there no complaints. Windshield wash was 6.50 a gallon and gas way over $5 a gallon but I was grateful for both.

They sold me tire chains not rated for my truck when I clearly stated I drive a 10k lbs dully. An employee helped install them. They broke and destroyed my running boards and fender wells. The store refuses to refund me for the chains let alone over 1k$ in damages to my truck I didn't even ask for. All I wanted was to return the chains.

Today, we stopped by this station to buy lottery tickets, get snacks and gas. The owner, Bob, was so rude to every customer because all of them were there to buy lottery tickets. He complained that the lottery is a waste of his time and money ... that it was costing him customers. He claimed that he earns no money on lottery tickets. As I was first in the line, he griped at me and told me to go to Gold Ranch ... seriously! He told me I was holding up his line from all of his paying customers that were in line behind me (as if I wasn't a paying customer). I told him that I asked all of his customers to go ahead of me and that the rest of the people were also lottery sales ... he said, well, all of you need to go somewhere else to buy those damned lottery tickets; you're wasting my time. Although I wasn't finished with my lottery transaction, I cut it short and informed the clerk and owner that I would go somewhere else. I left the snacks on the counter, and they lost my business. I spent $102.00 to fill-up my car at his competitor, and I purchased the rest of my lottery tickets and snacks from the other, very close-by, service station, where they were very friendly and even wished me good luck on the lottery. I will NEVER patronize this Shell staction again ... I work too hard for my money, and I refuse to be verbally bullied by an unappreciative and curmudgeon owner. Nobody forced that foul mannered, bitter old man to become a lottery retailer; if the lottery is hurting his business (as he claims), why doesn't he get rid of it? It makes No sense. He's a liar and a bully. I will report him to the CA Lottery headquarters.

In and out. How it should be. Clean. Organized and tidy. Every time I stop here it's consistently how it should be. Like visiting in another time era because it's just a nice gas station. The car wash must be good too because there are always people waiting to wash their cars here.
