Carl had a great manner with her and it was easy to coordinate timing as Carl gave us an approximate time she would be ready- and then a 20 minute heads up on her exact timing. I drive from Tahoe city to the Truckee Mountain Peak so this coordination really helps me. I prefer to use credit card but their credit card system was down so I had to pay using Venmo (they had some other e-pay options available) but this was just a slight inconvenience. Overall, a very good experience and I will groom my dog here again.

10939a Industrial Way #101, TruckeeThese folks have been so incredibly good to my 16 year old pup, Suki, and I - in particular, Caroline & Dr. Kang - every time we have an issue, they contact us right away to discuss options, are there to provide our Rx immediately, etc. Thanks to them, our pup is able to rest comfortably, without anxiety. We are so very lucky to have them in our community!

9701 CA-267, TruckeeDr vannini is awesome. She and the whole crew are amazing. I took my boxer, Sid, there with snot pouring out of my nose and sobbing uncontrollably. They helped me through the worst day of my life. Super professional and understanding. They wrote me a hand written letter I received later with their condolences. Prior to that they were always extremely accommodating and helpful. None of the: “well you have to bring him in and spend $300 so I can tell you he is ok and refill a prescription” BS like other vets in the area. They actually care.

They are always so nice and have a smile or joke for you. They have a nice area for eating inside. But I enjoy their patio seating where you can have your dogs and enjoy the outdoors. I wish I remembered to take a picture of my sandwich. I get it every time. It's so amazing for the taste buds! I'll probably spell it wrong, but it's the Inis. Soooo good!

If you purchase two bottles, your tasting fee is waived. We found each offering to be excellent! Their Malbec was outstanding! One of the family owner/operators shared both their story and their process. Who would have thought you would find such beautiful California wines in Truckee? Not this guy! If you're in the area, highly recommended you visit this winery. Cheers!

10115 Donner Pass Rd STE C, TruckeeFound a cute cafe in historic downtown Truckee called Drink Coffee Do Stuff and met the guy that runs the place “Kam.” He cheerfully agreed to make his avocado toast on my GF bread. He makes the avocado mash with olive oil and shakes Everything But The Bagel seasoning on top. Yum! The cappuccino was well-executed and tasty. The decor is mountain-sporty, with plenty of seating inside and out, and lots of windows, including some that look out on the train track. Added bonus to feel the train roll by! I’ll be a regular here having acquired a pad nearby. As a former cafe owner/operator, I appreciate places like this. Come spend time here, help make community and - pay in cash (that helps small business SO MUCH).

Indoor is always a party once the band starts... if you want live music this is the scene. If you want a quiet intimate dinner - finished before the band starts. Best cocktails in Truckee. Great bar staff, inventive cocktails, and always a great time at the bar weather eating or just having a drink.
