If you’re hoping to consign unworn 6-12m clothes here, I’ll save you some time: don’t bother.- They aren’t interested if your child doesn’t wear “name brand” baby clothes.- They’ll scold you because it’s after 1 pm. (It was 1:45).- Then, if you try to just donate the one item that they pick out of the small grocery bag you brought (thinking that would save them time and be a nice gesture) the manager will tell you that you should take it to the thrift store down the street.Oh and to top it off she added, “I only picked one item out of the bag to be nice. We actually wouldn’t have taken it.” Why was this comment even necessary other than to be rude and hurtful?Funny thing is, I had been there the week before just to browse and purchased some items for myself, but after this experience I won’t be back to consign or shop for anyone in my family there ever again.

This place is awesome! Large selection and very reasonable prices. Multiple people have commented on the customer service (or lack thereof), but we found everyone friendly enough. Maybe this "issue" is about expectations....when we went in the store it was busy, some of the stuff was in disarray, and the store was a bit cramped--but we came to get deals!! Not pay a premium for service and spaciousness! We got brand name clothes in great condition for our kids at pretty unbelievable prices. In the Bay Area, where we are from, you can't find anything comparable to this--we will definitely be back.

You can find almost anything here for kids! Such a great store!! We visit Truckee 2x year and always forget something at home but we are able to come here & find it without being ripped off. Lots of amazing toys for gifts as well

We can from The Bay Area and our kids got their boots soaked from the snow. Mom fail for not packing extra shoes. We stopped here and they had used boots and new socks which were perfect because we didn't want to buy them new ones. Which they also had. Total bargain.

Great for locals and visitors alike. New and gently used items you can find at great prices so you dont have to leave Truckee to get the necessities and the fun stuff!! Awesome quick stop for a gift!!

Great little store for gently worn baby & kids clothing. There is also a nice selection of new educational & STEM toys, such as Melissa & Doug, stuffed animals. What I also like there is also a great selection of kids consignment ski clothing and accessories.Mountain Kids Consignment is connected to Echo Blue, a women's clothing and accessories store. So, it's nice to look for good deals for both me and my kids at the same time!

This was great. I needed some clothes for my son. We live in SD so winter clothes are not our jam. Didn't want to spend a fortune when we were only in Tahoe for a few days. JACKPOT! 20 mins later he was outfitted in all the appropriate winter clothes without breaking the bank. If back this will also be a spot we hit up.

Such great deals! We go here for kids jackets, but my wife finds loads of cloths for her. They have a great selection of baby stuff and kids toys. Often still in the packaging for considerable savings! They have a fun kids nook with a TV to keep the little ones busy. The staff is also very helpful and kid friendly.

The most helpful staff. The products they carry are top notch. Unique affordable, clever and practical. One Stop Shop. Birthday/Baby shower gifts to seasonal neccesities. Best store in Truckee. We make a point to stop everytime were in town.
