We were looking for a leather recliner that would coordinate with our other furniture. Janene was super helpful and able to find us the perfect chair that is extremely comfortable and looks great in our living room. I would highly recommend working with Janene and Mountain Comfort!

I want to give a big shout out to Stacey! I was in need of furnishing our Tahoe Donner immediately for upcoming rentals. Within one week, she designed and delivered the most beautiful dining room and living room furniture. I also want to thank the delivery team - job well done!

My wife and I came in, looking for chairs for our new dining room table. We are trying to save some money and not spend too much with how expensive the economy has gotten, but whoever was at the front desk today needs some customer service training. She told us that her owner doesn’t have chairs that”break down” and that we should go to Walmart”.We have a bought a pretty expensive dresser from here, but after today we won’t be returning.

A year ago my wife and I came here to mountain comfort furnishings and ordered a new bedroom set for our home. Our sales person was kind and warned us of the challenges of ordering furniture during the pandemic so our expectations were prepared for delays. What we weren’t prepared for was the lack of communication about those delays. After 3 month we had to reach out for an update. A month or so later our order was delivered to the Colorado location and we had to wait a couple more weeks. We had ordered a bed, 2 nightstands, a dresser and a chest. When our order was finally delivered the bed was missing boards to connect the head and foot boards, one nightstand was missing and the dresser and chest were deeply scratched in an obvious location. Also a drawer pull was missing. We rejected the delivery but had been required to make full payment by that point and given the severe lack of customer service we had received we asked for a full refund. Our still kind and understanding sales person said she was unable to approve a refund and gave us the phone number of the manager in Colorado who also sounded kind. We spoke with him and proposed a partial refund with a re-do on our previous order. The manager agreed this seemed reasonable but no action was taken. My future phone calls were not returned. We were forced to cancel our deposit and final payments through our credit card in order to get a refund. We can’t recommend this business. Fortunately we found another store in Truckee that exceeded our expectations for customer service.

We were excited at the selection on their website so we called to get more information about pricing, delivery area, etc. We were told by a rather rude employee that we needed to provide our personal information on their website to express interest. Only after our information was entered into their website would someone call us with pricing and other details. How strange that a furniture store would need to collect customers' personal information prior to even giving information on pricing. We experienced rude customer service and certainly will be taking our business elsewhere.

I have had the pleasure of working with this store twice, and both times Stacey Fite and Janene Spencer were incredibly helpful, patient, professional and fun to work with!!! I have no design sense and was tasked with making our new home comfy yet affordable. Mountain Comfort and their crew not only were able to help me visualize and piece together items I would not have thought of.....but, they were able to deliver on the exact same day!!! To top if off, their delivery staff were just as helpful!! I have nothing but great things to recommend about this store and particularly its staff of Stacey and Janene. Thank you !!!

Shopping around for a couch, they claimed their inventory was really great, better than Pottery Barn furniture which THEY constantly need to repair, they said (Red flag #1). I ended up buying the couch they said was very well made. Turns out the couch is arguably one of the cheapest and poorly made pieces of furniture I ever paid $800 for (which was on sale, by the way). When it was delivered the fabric on the bottom was torn (Red flag #2). I didn't worry too much about it because I probably would never see the tear. We've had it for a few months and it looks like we've had it for 20 years. Back cushions are all lumpy and misshapen, it's a lint magnet, the seat cushions constantly migrate forward, it has zero support, and is very uncomfortable. BUYER BEWARE!! I won't be buying furniture from them again.

Had a fantastic experience. We are thrilled with our bunk bed. Customer service was excellent- thank you Stacey. The delivery guys were on time, kind and very professional. We had a slight issue with the bed and they came and replaced the faulty part on the same day- even accommodating around my son's naptime! If you're looking to furnish your cabin and want an easy, professional experience- look no further.

We had a fantastic experience with Mountain Comfort Furnishings. We bought a custom sectional, chair, lamps and end tables. As a bonus all the items we bought are made on the USA. The furniture is beautiful and great quality. Stacey was very helpful with design and helping us put a great package together. The delivery team was amazing, very professional and careful in our home. They arrived on time, setup all our new furniture and hauled all he old items away. We will definitely use Mountain Comfort Furnishings again and give them our highest recommendations.

We have several Tahoe properties and we love this store for finding unique, mountain-themed furnishings and decor. I've found everything from lighting to furnishings here, and everything I've bought has been beautiful, durable, and stylish. The staff are particularly helpful in finding items as the store is packed full of wonderful items and it can be easy to overlook things. This isn't a chain furniture store, everything is unique, and it's clear the owner(s) are selective in what they choose to sell. We make regular visits here just to look around, and we almost always find something perfect for our homes.

I love this store. They have beautiful and unique home furnishings, from rustic to luxurious, functional to fun. The woman who runs the store is knowledgeable and helpful, not at all pushy. I recently bought a chandelier that is both beautiful and practical, and was priced quite reasonably. It was unlike anything I saw in any other store.

These guys see to every detail. They have a large selection and they have customizable pieces. We bought a custom couch that we absolutely love! Thanks Stacey. The delivery were also very polite and attentive.
