A small gallery staffed by a rotating core of artists. Art is available in here in various media and at various price ranges but all of it is beautiful and unique. It's located inside the train depot so it's easy to overlook. I wish I had more disposable income. I'd buy the place out.

I've been in this place a few times and have always been greeted warmly. I love their selection of local artwork. I have become a huge fan of one of the artists they feature. Ian Scott. You can purchase a small souvenir piece for as little as $30 or a larger statement piece for your home.

I was in here with my boyfriend over the Fourth of July weekend. I had some birthday money from my special 60th birthday and was hoping to find something special to take home with me to the Bay Area. I was immediately greeted by someone who asked me to use the disinfectant which I had already done right outside her door. Her demeanor was extremely grumpy and unwelcoming. Although I did end up buying a beautiful travel mug, I was left with a very bad taste in my mouth. She even came into the other room to make sure I wasn't stealing anything, I don't think I have ever been made to feel so unwelcome in a store before. What could have been a very pleasant and positive experience was ruined by this bitter and unpleasant woman. I can't really even enjoy my mug like I should as it brings back bad memories. This after paying $40 for it. I now regret buying it.Maybe she just woke up on the wrong side of the bed but I somehow doubt it. My boyfriend very nicely asked her if she knew when the next train would come in and she very rudely snapped at him and told him he was in the wrong place. Perhaps working with customers is not for her, I think she should seek another line of work. I will never go back here there are numerous art galleries in Truckee that would be more than happy to take my money and leave me with a positive experience!
