this is by far the best animal shelter I have ever seen or been to. The people are great, the facilities are wonderful, and they are super committed to the animals. We adopted a bunny here and they made sure that they helped me with the cost of the spay surgery, which was just amazing.

this animal care center shelter is a awesome place clean well maintained kind caring staff and so many wonderful animals waiting for a forever home ask the staff about being a foster parent for an animal or animals while a forever home is found no out of pocket costs and if you are a veteran or know military veterans a new ca state law sb allows a veteran to adopt an animal and adoption fees are waived. $0 nada just show your va card or state id dl verifying your vet status

I'm training to be a dog trainer. So far I've learned quite a few things. I went to look at a dog with my family and I was pleasantly surprised at how much the workers knew and how well they handled every situation. It was very clean and professional. Definitely the best shelter I have been to by far. If you're considering going definitely do.

Alexa helped us with our new family member today and we couldn't be more thankful to have had her help! The Humane Society is super lucky to have her - she was so patient with us, knowledgeable, and friendly. She made the experience so much less stressful, and you can tell she really cares about the well-being of the dog first which is why we felt our new baby had been in good hands while at the shelter. We're ecstatic to have Britta in our home and will love her endlessly
