I placed an order online for a premium board that was on sale. It was a great deal, so I jumped on it. However, I decided to cancel because it was shorter than what I usually ride. During the refund process, we encountered some issues with PayPal (PayPal's fault), but the communication throughout was outstanding! The customer service was the kind you expect from a small, family-owned business—truly exceptional. They have definitely earned my loyalty, and I will be returning to their site for my next gear purchase.

Awesome service!
I left my board at a local resort, and had it dropped off at the Truckee Boardshop. The owner was super helpful and shipped my board to my house across the country for a very competitive price compared to others.

Great shop and crew. We dropped our boards off for an overnight tune-up and talked with the staff. Seems like a solid group of guys and the store has a good clothing section offering volcom, vans and a board selection too. Hit them up if you need anything. They have a donation box on the counter for their new skatepark, please contribute!

We’ve never had such a helpful experience shopping for snowboarding equipment. Shane explained everything we needed to know and anything we asked him in the most respectful and straightforward way. The selection of boards is pretty vast. We bought a sweet board and bindings right for our level, and Shane waxed/set it all up.

This place feels like one of the best kept secrets of Truckee. Always knowledgeable staff and great gear on hand. I have continued to take my snowboard here for service since I learned about this shop. Shane's decades of experise is unparalleled. When it comes tuning, servicing and repairs, you name it, my motto is "No Shane, no gain"!

Me and a few friends needed to get our boards waxed without an overnight turnaround. We brought in 4 boards around 6pm and they were super fast and got it back to us within an hour. They even offered to help us adjust the bindings as well. I could really tell the employees here care abt the sport and community, and I love that they're super friendly and welcoming too. Also have deep knowledge abt the sport. I think it's cool that this shop has primarily skateboarding and snowboarding stuff Also they do boot fittings so will definitely come back again for that!! the prices were very fair and that was nice too :)

Dom , thank you very much!! Went in looking for a pair of boots before hitting up Northstar I asked for a 10.5 in a specific boot I wanted he said let's get you sized up first so you have the correct boot , I was hesitant at first and just wanted to get a 10.5 boot as fast as possible so I can get to shredding as fast as possible but he took his time to measure both of my feet and gave me a 9.5 boot. After he got me fitted he told me to go grab my board so he can adjust our bindings to our new boots , this is something he did not have to do but took the time to do so (my lady ended up getting fitted too and got a boot that actually fit her as well) Never knew I was a 9.5 boot till I came here & I've been snowboarding for years, went to go shred after buying them and had an amazing time with boots that actually fit. Dom over at the truckee board shop is a great employee, thank you again. -@hotboy_druwski
