Coach makes the difference between a regular gym and OTF. I like how one hour workout is split into tread, rover and floor. Added to this everyone in the group is doing the same workout, which is a motivation for me.

I've been there three times now, my wife has been going for a while. I wasn't sure if I would like it or not. I thought it might be like every other gym. I was wrong. The coaches really care about each person. There is no judgement from the other clients. Besides it's just a fun experience. I would highly recommend OT to anyone.

I have been to OTF before and classes are great. They come up with new exercises everyday and it is encouraging.

Finally bit the bullet and joined Orange Theory last month and it was the best decision Ive made this year. The classes are highly engaging and the trainers are great motivators. Ive met some really nice friends and even co-workers!! Try to get in early so you get first dibs on the treads or rowers whichever you prefer! Shout out to Coach Jason and Coach Juanita for doing an excellent job.

I've been working out at Orangetheory Fitness for over six months, and I'm so glad I made the switch. The workouts are challenging and fun, and I've seen a lot of improvement in my fitness level. I'm stronger, I have more endurance, and I'm losing weight. I'm also sleeping better and feeling more energized throughout the day.The coaches at Orangetheory are amazing. They're knowledgeable, motivating, and always there to help you reach your goals. They create a fun and supportive atmosphere in the studio, which makes it easy to push yourself during workouts. The community at Orangetheory is also great. Everyone is so friendly and encouraging, and it's always fun to see familiar faces in class.

A friend gave me a holiday membership to try Orange Theory out. It was one of the best gifts I've gotten. Coaches are awesome & personable. I never know what the workout is that day which keeps me on my toes. I love the community aspect. I feel energized after every workout no matter how hard it kicked my @$$.

This place works because you can just check your brain at the door and know that as long as you follow along, you will get a a complete body workout. I always hated figuring out what to do during a workout or if I was in the right form. The coaches are fantastic and really care about your overall wellness. It’s the closest thing to having a personal trainer. The group setting with everyone working together also keeps you motivated.

I like the community and that the coaches know my name and take time to check in with me every workout. The community is what keeps me going.

My review is l long overdue as I've just completed my 100th workout here.OTF is a great way to get in shape and stay in shape. The coaches and staff are super friendly and challenge us to show up and do our best.I'm a former athlete and now suburban dad. I needed something more motivating to reboot my fitness journey than just going to the gym on my own.I stumbled onto Orange Theory, tried the initial workout and I was hooked. You don't have to think about anything, you just show up and put in the effort. It's a fantastic workout and I burn a ton of calories. You schedule classes in the app that best fit your calendar. There are several in the morning and evening. Sometimes, work, commuting, or vacations get in the way but they make it easy to reschedule. Just note you'll get dinged a fee if you cancel within 8 hours of a class start (totally understandable because they cater the workout to the number of people who show up). Alternatively, you can go on standby in the app and (usually) get into a class that's otherwise booked. The workouts are high intensity interval training (HIIT) and are organized in groups of 3--you can start on the floor, rower, or treadmill and each group rotates so everyone gets 20 minutes on each (or if a smaller group, 30 min on the treadmill, 30 min on the floor/rower). The lighting is orange and dim which at first seems odd, but it seems normal now. The goal is to get into your aerobic zone for at least 12 minutes out of an hour workout to generate points. Your wristband will sync with the monitor on the wall and show your stats with the rest of the class. It's really useful to glance up and see what zone you're in. Blue, Green (warmed up), Orange (ideal) and Red (all out). The first 5 minutes are a warmup. Then time is spent in a base pace, a push pace, then short all out intervals. Running is mostly a combo of speed and/or hill intervals with some endurance mixed in on some days. Rowing is speed or distance mixed with some floor exercises (usually plyometrics mixed with medicine ball work). The floor combines dumbell lifting with plyometrics, floor work (planks) and TRX straps. They also have a stationary bike and elliptical trainer in case you need a brake from running, rowing, or the floor work. The coaching is some of the best I've had. Jason and Juanita keep everything moving and call everything out so you rarely have to think about what's coming up next. If you need a modification to an exercise, just ask.The coaches come up with lots of variety in the workouts to keep things interesting and there are regular challenges (distance, speed, and events like the Dri Tri triathon to keep things fun). The music is usually good. I dig Jason's 2000s emo mix. (Note, the music can be somewhat loud if you're not expecting it.) Some Saturdays, they bring in a live DJ to change things up.Classes are limited in size to a max of 36 people (3 x 12 stations) and there's no waiting for equipment. If you've never worked out in your life, it's a great place to start. There's just a ton of positive energy. Janea at the front desk is super helpful. And it's right here in Tracy--we don't have to drive to Livermore or Manteca!I highly recommend OTF.

Coming here has changed my approach on “going to the gym”. I look forward to going! The staff is nice. The equipment is clean.

Initially I called to join the OTF till I join there was a good follow up. Later joined and had to quit due to my leg injury. Doctor said to wait for 6months and I told the same to the staff. Recently I see OTF have charged my account for two months even though I haven't attended. They dont even call back or respond to your text messages simply they charge. One of the worst experience with Tracy OTF staff.

My wife and I signed up a year ago right around Valentine's Day. We wanted to join a gym that had flexibility in schedule, but also had the class structure to keep us motivated to achieve our fitness goals. The class atmosphere is challenging, fun, friendly, and did I say fun? We love the cardio and strength workouts along with the killer Tupac and Biggie beats bumping in the background! I am burning anywhere from 700-900 calories per class which is unheard of at a regular gym. We love the variety of classes throughout the week in which we can work out early in the morning or late in the evening. Whatever you need- OTF Tracy has it.The total experience is so motivating that you do not want to stop. It's a group class so there's no one who gets left behind. Fast forward to almost one year later, we are in the best shape of our lives! A huge shoutout to coach Jason and Juanita for their dedication and passion to lead these classes. It's definitely not an easy task so we are grateful for your commitment!
