I rarely need to go to the post office anymore but when the need arises there is no better post office than this one. In fact, this is the rare post office that I'd give more than one star to. Located in a woodsy area in Trabuco Canyon (across from O'Neill Park), you half expect to see an old man in a rocking chair smoking a corn cob pipe and whittling a piece of wood near the front entrance. But it's a modern post office on the inside with a service counter, mailing supplies, greeting cards and an abundance of PO boxes. I came to mail a box of gifts to another country. I walked in to find the place completely empty. I rang a service bell on the counter and a voice from somewhere in the back announced they'd be there in a moment. The postmaster quickly arrived and took care of my mailing plus I purchased some Christmas stamps. She was very friendly and provided great customer service, carefully making sure my customs form was properly filled out. By the time I drove away I was amazed that still no other customers were to be seen. Most people dream of a post office experience like this. If you are anywhere near Trabuco Canyon your dreams can come true.

Extremely pleasant staff that were helpful and kind. Service seems personalized and easy at this post office, not a lot of traffic so very quick inside.

I love this post office! You have to drive down this windy hill into a valley where you'll pass a little general store, a yummy Mexican restaurant a feed store and than you come upon this little local post office. It reminds me of one on the east coast. Small, quaint and never busy. The workers are super nice and helpful unlike other post offices. What I love the most it's never busy and the workers are extremely nice 👠wish I had a better pic

Quaint little post office located in Trabuco Canyon. Such a pleasure to go here during the holidays versus dealing with any of the neighboring post offices like the one in Rancho Santa Margarita or in Mission Viejo. It reminds me of some of the smaller post offices I grew up with back home in Hawaii with the one Postmaster running the show. A few downsides to this location for me is that they don't have a self-serve kiosk in the lobby AND they are closed all day on Saturdays. Otherwise I will take most of my business here for outgoing packages and mail.
