I was talking to John for a half hour on the phone. I finally figured out that they had the part I needed. I said I would be there in 5 min. I go down there, and the guy at the front counter wouldn't let me talk to John, so he wanted me to explain all over again what i needed, and I can see John in the back. I just left. I don't have time for this. I just ordered it on Amazon

Elvis - the service tech is absolutely amazing. He has replaced our salt cell and other repairs. Was polite, helpful and went above and beyond. He found a crack in the salt cell casing after he installed it and ordered and replace the new one at no cost. He spends time showing you what eachPart does. If you need a dependable pool service contact Leslie's and ask for Elvis.

I am pretty new to the world of spa care and I have to say that every time I go to Leslie's, they treat me right. They take their time to explain things, sell me only what I need, and give me a nice printout letting me know how my water is doing. The manager was particularly nice and I really find this store to be a great resource to learn and to get the vital supplies I need to keep my awesome jacuzzi going!

To everyone with a private pool or spa this is the place to go!! I have gone through 3 different pool supply and service companies to maintain my older pool and I'm switching to Leslie's. The manager John was extremely helpful and knowledgeable on what my pool did and did not need. I have saved so much on basic maintenance that I was paying an arm and a leg for with other companies and still having problems. I'm not a huge Yelp reviewer but I believe in giving credit to where credit is due!!

I stopped by to get some pool acid. I have a jacuzzi in my backyard and I needed to get some acid to keep it clean. The guy who helped me was friendly and helpful. He suggested I get a water testing kit. This solved my problems. My hot tub is now clean and free of pool algae. It has made the hot tub much more enjoyable because it is clean.

Update to original review. So I am updating my review to share the total overall experience. After the last review it was only a matter of hours before my husband heard from the region manager requesting a time to visit and see the equipment and install. The region manager showed up the next day along with several other service people. Bottom line...The region manager was very apologetic and looked at the work that was completed and admitted it's not how things should be done and he was taking care of it immediately. They are fixing the pipes that were not originally replaced. They didn't have all of the materials that day but will be calling for a follow up hopefully later this week. I'm still a bit aggravated that we went through all of this, but I also don't think its fair not to provide total transparency to the overall incident especially when they are doing everything to resolve the issue. Willing to give them a second chance and feel free to let them know about my reviews when deciding on whether or not to do business with Leslies Pools in Trabuco Canyon. We will be a continued customer.First of all, the guys in the store are polite, but maybe that's their shtick. We had them come and give us an estimate on replacing all of the pool equipment from soup to nuts. The estimate was over $12,000 and there were a few nice to haves that we opted to wait on for future service. When all was said and done we agreed to replace the necessities which came to a little over $9,000. When they cam to do the install, of course the system wasn't going to work because they didn't know we would need this "extra part" that cost another $500 on top of the agreed upon equipment. Okay, that happens, we wrote the guy a check for the $500 and he proceeded to install the equipment.Fast forward a couple of weeks and the sweep hasn't been working since the install, the pool looks awful, and we've been trying to get them out to check on the install and equipment. finally after two agreed upon appointments and two "No Shows" I went into the store and almost lost my SH_T! They sent someone out later in the afternoon after several phone calls and now they are telling me the valves are broken and need to be replaced. So when we asked for a complete estimate to upgrade "all" the equipment I guess their understanding of "all" the equipment was different than "all" equipment.I don't recommend Leslie's Pools for service and install to anyone. Buyer Beware! It's unfortunate that it has to be this way. They are now a convenient stop to purchase weekly/monthly service supplies since we clean our own pool and if we need any service on equipment or new equipment and parts it won't be happening with Leslie's Pools in Trabuco Canyon,

I have visited a few times already and so far really good experience. Josh helped me a couple of times to get water tested and recommended proper treatment. Helped to order a broken part of my pool filter. Store doesn't seem to be super busy as the others nearby so the tipical waiting time is less likely to happen.
