Not sure WHY, but I was checking my reviews I had made in the past - the Walser's review was missing.I had made a serious complaint about the way I was treated in the store, it was a sad fact too since I had been shopping at Walser's going back to when they were on Hawthorne Blvd.I was followed around like I was a someone they suspected as a thief. When I asked for assistance, I was given cursory, standard answers I could have googled. I left with a big purchase, paying cash - as a "in your face" because I needed what I came there for but I will admit - this was approx 2 yrs ago & I haven't returned since.Hopefully THIS review won't be deleted.I don't expect it will because it appears this place has moved on to selling weapons (tools of destruction) instead of implements of PEACE.Figures considering how I was treated that day. A sign of paranoia setting in ...

Great place for responsible firearm owners to get quality gear and equipment for a great price. If I need anything pertaining to Firearms this is my first place choice.

They don’t do Art supplies anymore. Just pew pews and pew pew supplies.

This store is such a gem! Jack is willing to do everything to provide the best service possible. CA is such a hassle, and I could not have had a better experience with an authorized FFL!

They tack on a $50 transfer fee even if you're buying something in stock in store. There's no transfer so it's a misnomered surcharge. If you can't afford to run the business at the advertised price then don't advertise it.

I found Walser's searching for a local FFL dealer on-line and hit the jackpot! Spoke with Janie who was super helpful, friendly and polite. Not like some of the other gun stores who make you feel like you're a bother. The owner, Jack, was similarly friendly, knowledgeable, fast and efficient. Filled out my paperwork in no time. The store is small but if you are ordering a firearm or ammo on-line this is definitely the place to go! Just wish they were able administer the Firearm Safety Certitificate. But no biggie.

I've been to this mom and pop shop before to purchase "tactical" stuff. I love their customer service and great personalities but the extra"walser's Transfer fee" (additional $50 policy) just doesn't make any sense to me. If you have to charge extra because you're a small business then just be honest with the prices - Other small businesses are very upfront about it WITH great customer service! But the hidden "transfer" fee when I bought a firearm from you directly IS NOT RIGHT!

Such friendly service! This place has lots of art supplies AND old electronics (guitar amps, and vintage stereo components, computers, projectors, and reel-to-reel recorders etc) and, of course, tactical supplies. The photos I took of a few of the tape reel machines I saw.Their ammo prices are better than Big-5, which was my go-to store for ammo until two days ago, when I found Walser’s. Bought three boxes of 9mm FMJ (150 rds) for about $75 including tax and DOJ fee. So it’s cheaper than big 5 by about five cents per round. Plus, they get deliveries every day. When I showed up, there happened to be no line. Also picked up a Glock 17 mag for my Kel-Tec sub 2000. This will likely be my go-to place for many of my #pewpew needs

I bought a stock gun from Walser’s and was charged with the DOJ Dros fee ($31.19) and DOJ Transfer Fee ($50). My gun was not purchased from other stores nor transferred from other store to Walser’s. It was purchased directly from Walser’s store which was in stock at the time of purchase. Therefore, I shouldn’t have been charged with above fees per my colleagues from gun club. Upon reviewed of the receipt at home, I happened to notice the charges and contacted Jack to dispute the overcharge. Jack simply stated that it was their policy. Jack, the owner didn’t explain any of the above mentioned charges prior to purchasing my gun. I am unhappy with how Walser’s is overcharging their customer and Jack’s response was very unprofessional. I regret referring two of my friends as all three of us were charged with above fees.

Walked into Walser’s one morning. Met Jack who proved to be very friendly and helpful. Walked me through his in-stock inventory and got all my paperwork done really quickly. Definitely a great gun buying experience!
