“The Torrance Cultural Arts Center is such a lovely place. Right in the heart of Torrance it has a lot to offer. The entire campus is always so clean and safe and parking is always free.

We have been a few times. The last time we went to their amazing Pine Wind Japanese Garden. It is a real Japanese garden and the man who designed it is brilliant. National Landscape Award winner Takeo Uesugi designed the entire area. It has two waterfall, a koi pond, and a beautiful stone pathway. it also has a A two-tiered amphitheater with seating for up to 25 people or maybe more if they bring in some chairs. What a wonderful place to see an event. You can even get married there.

They also have a wonderful little museum, and the George Nakano Theater is super cute and you can rent it for meetings or a performance and they have events there as well.

The James Armstrong Theater is also there and we just went last month to see a great performance.

All of it is just wonderful, even if you just want to walk the garden or just walk. Have the best time.”

“Monarch Ballroom is probably the most beautiful dance studio and event space in LA County with really amazing teachers! Their Beginner Ballroom Class on Mondays and Beginner Rhythm on Tuesdays are just great! You could learn different variety of moves at any dance you like (cha-cha, waltz, rumba, foxtrot). And the instructors Max and Eduard are super fun and knowledgeable!! Plus all the people at the studio are so nice and warm! You always feel like home away from home!”

“We saw a wonderful Japanese drumming show, from very young beginners exhibiting what they have learned to numerous other groups that were so talented and entertaining. If they have this next year we will definitely attend.”

“Went to a taste testing and menu selection for my event in February. The room was beautifully decorated, elegant, and spacious. The food we sampled was to-die-for. We tasted the sliced roast beef, a baked chicken sliced in strips and another type of chicken, teriyaki salmon and a specially seasoned mashed potato and rice. All the food was excellent, but I could only pick two meats. I know my guests will love the choices. The facility is beautiful.”

“The room here is pretty basic, but the front desk staff is super friendly. You get your core essentials and and small lounger with a chaise to hangout and enjoy a ice cold beer after a long day at work. The room is clean and housekeeping occurs every other day upon your approval during the reservation process. There is a fridge inside the room but no microwave. Instead, there is a single really basic communal microwave in the ice room right by the elevator, which I find odd. I really like the RFID enabled mobile keycard, it really elevated my experience at this hotel. Rather than checking in at the front desk, all I need to do is check in to the hotel via the Marriott BonVoy mobile app and the hotel will issue a mobile keycard (much like a Tesla key) to the app. Checking out is just as straight forward. No need to check out at the front desk and an invoice was emailed to me. Parking is ample and well lit at night. There is a 24 hour "market" by the front desk for basic beverage, beer and snacks which came in handy for the 3 nights I was in town. The downstairs bistro, while pricey, satisfies your hunger if you do not have the energy to go out to a restaurant. The hotel is geared more towards the solo business traveler, in my opinion, rather than tailored towards a family vacation travel, and they hit all the mark.”

“When I arrived at the hotel, I was greeted. But the Asian lady at front desk. She is not very particular and details on the check-in. She needs more training on how to deal with customers with needs and concerns. I am assuming she is not very well experienced. She told me, she doesn’t accept cash. ?? so we felt useless, so my roommate and I, went to the bank. I called the front desk, the gentleman on the phone was very helpful. When I explain my issues, he is really good. He saved my roommate and I. I can’t remember the gentleman’s name on the phone, God Bless You, Thank You so much ????

Rooms: Nice and clean ✨✨✨

Safety: Gated arms to prevent car thief.”

“The hotel was clean but dated for alot of things in the room. It was great having a kitchen though for being there a while for work. The front desk was great to help when we had hotels website issues. The pools heater was broken the entire time which sucked because it was chilly when we were there but the hot tub was hot. Will be staying here again.Rooms: The furniture was dated, the couch has Rios and such. The desk chair if you leaned back at all would also go completely backward and was uncomfortable.Noteworthy details: It was great to finish the night around a fire place outdoors.”
