If I could I would give Unify 0 Stars!! Was on hold at the customer service call center to talk to a supervisor for over one hour! Then a Supervisor never got on the line like I was told by SYEDA. Then the previous call center representative Dominique kept "over talking" me and giving me conflicting information. This is the "worst" credit Union!! I don't go through this with my other exclusive credit unions!! There's a reason why Navy Federal Credit Union and Schools 1st Federal Credit Union are not easy to join! Federal Credit Unions are the best!! Stay away from State Chartered Credit Unions!

I am seriously considering moving our HOA account away from unify credit union after the ridiculous run around they forced upon us. As a Homeowner association, we have a rotating board of directors. At the end of each fiscal year, a few old board members' names would be removed from our HOA account, and new board members would be added. it hasn't been a huge issue for the past 5 years, but the process has been getting increasing complecated until unacceptable this year. We called to make an appointment and specifically asked whose presence is required, and was told just the people who will be removed or added. But when we got there, we were turned away, because one retaining board member wasn't there, and they need everyone whose name is currently on the account to be there in person. So we made another appointment and all five of us made it to the bank at 9 AM, our scheduled appointment, and was told the person we are to meet doesn't start work till 9:30. After talking to the branch manager, he puts us to a senior banker to assist, who, while very friendly and courteous, ask for our HOA CC&R, which was not mentioned when we made the appointment, and never was asked for in the previous year process. Luckily we have all of our legal documents stored online and were able to provide them to her. Then, she asked for the most recent meeting minutes to reflect the change of the board. But that was soon declined by the legal depart at the credit union, because it only showed the current board's name, not reflecting the "change" from the previous board. So we provide the annual meeting minute, which does reflect the change, but was declined again because the minute was not signed by the board secretary. The secretary is not even a person listed as a bank account holder, and now we need a sixth person's signature. An hour later when that was finally sent to their legal, it was declined again, because, "the meeting minute only reflect the change of the HOA board, not reflecting the change of bank account holder, and you need to specifically say whose name should be removed from bank account and whose should be added in your meeting minutes" I don't know how long i can take this. i think it's much easier to close this bank account and open it elsewhere.

Drive-through is hit and miss, sometimes open sometimes not, inconsistent. Biggest frustration is this financial institution just won't simply cash a check, they require you to deposit and then withdraw from your funds. Other than that, staff is friendly.

I've pretty much had it with this location. The outside drive up ATM NEVER WORKS ATM in lobby is also locked up. Fix your ATM it's such an inconvenience when someone who has a job the same hours as a bank can not deposit nor withdraw their OWN hard worked $$$$. Also they always have issues where ATM times out and your $ deposit is in a "cloud" not in your account and you get no receipt so you have to file a dispute and you're out cash & $ in your account!

Love us some Unify Credit Union! We have been members forever & ever. So glad we decided not to change our bank after moving to the Inland Empire. Even though Unify's branch locations are pretty far from us. Customer service is always top notch! Never had any problems at all. We have utilized Unify for a personal loan in the past and for a home loan recently. For our personal loan it was quick and painless. Loan officer was friendly and helpful. Got us in & out and gave us a great rate. So we decided it was a no brainer to go with them for our home loan. The home loan pre-approval was simple & straight forward. Then once we found our home and put a bid on it. Unify was there every step of the way! Especially Sandra Morales she is such an AMAZING lady! She answered every single question big or small. Helped throughout the whole process. She was a true delight to work with. Also Regina, Rosalind, and Michelle were awesome as well, but Sandra was the best by far! We needed to close is 30 days and with it being a sellers market right now. It's really hard to close in 30 days. The Unify team made it happen! They pushed themselves to the limit to help us close fast. We are so impressed with everyone @ Unify and are so happy we chose them for our home purchase. Now we are in our new home and happy as can be! Thank you Unify Y'all ROCK!

I had deposited a check into my savings in the drive up atm and the next day I had seen it was taken out. I was concerned so I went back down there and talked with Jocelyn. She had told me that the atm will be getting serviced either Wednesday or Thursday and that she would call me or my husband to come down and redeposit the check. Never got a call from her so I called her that thursday. She went to go "check on it" and came back to the phone saying that they had already mailed it out. And even blames "someone new" saying that they weren't looking out for it even though she had told them to be on the look out. A week and a half goes by, both my husband and I call Jocelyn pretty much everyday but she doesn't answer so we leave messages for her to call us back. I'm growing more anxious because it was a $1400 check. So my husband and I go back down there and I speak to the branch manager Joaquin and explain to him what happened. I explain that Jocelyn said they would be reissuing/mailing the check back to us. He goes to the back I guess to check if it did get mailed and comes back check in hand. He's very apologetic and tells the tellers to not put a hold on the deposit. This incident has me questioning the safety of my checks and banking accounts now.

Really awful service and it starts with their leadership, Joaquin. I started banking with TRWSFCU 45 years ago. I do very little banking in person, I mostly do electronic banking and call maybe twice a year. After meeting Joaquin, I'm actually looking for a new credit union.

I joined when it was still the TRW credit union--the low fees are always nice but the biggest benefit I found out about 20 years ago--a coworker stole 2 checks and tried to cash them--I got copies of the checks, took them to Kinecta (then Hughes FCU) to find out the branch the checks were cashed at so I could go to the correct PD--the cops got the paperwork on Friday and they got the people involved by Tuesday

Western federal credit union changed to unify. I was so happy under western. Once unify took over my banking experience slowly started to decline. The personal relationship I had with western is something unify is not interested in. I have closed 5 accounts with unify that originated under western. I currently have my last account there and is hard to change since it's my personal business account. Unify has done nothing but gouge me in fees and penalize me 3 times for 1 error. With this being said, this is just about the worst financial institution I've ever dealt with. Unless you like giving away your hard earned money, unify is not the place for you to leave your money.

I have been a member here for over 20 years and enjoy the service here. If I didn't then I wouldn't put my money here. I am most happy with the service my elderly father gets when he walks in the door and Mario treats him like family and makes him feel at ease like somebody cares. He always boasts about Mario and that makes me feel happy he is taken care of. About a year ago Mario gave my son his first new truck loan and he qualified without any co-signers--he was elated. He also suggested he call him in a few months and he could refinance with a better deal. My dad informed me his debit card expired and I left Mario a message to call my dad and send him out a new card and voila, a new card arrived a few days later. I personally don't go into the branch like I used to because of all the conveniences on the their app. I just do e-deposits and transfers via the app and it saves me gas and time. My dad is old fashioned and still likes to go in and see Mario. Thank you, Mario for being patient and treating him so well. Keep up the great service!
