“The folks at Japanese Auto Center in Torrance are the best! The first time I went to them I brought in a list of expensive ($8k) recommended repairs from my local dealership in order to get a second opinion. They ended up confirming that about half of the repairs needed to be made, and gave me a very reasonable price to do the work. But another very expensive repair they demonstrated was not necessary, saving me thousands of dollars! I was very grateful and pleased with the results of their work.More recently I visited because my front grille cover had popped off when I hit a curb stop. My car is very low slung and hard to get below without jacking it up, and I wasn’t sure if one of the fasteners had broken or not. I asked them to see if they thought they could reattach it securely, or if I needed to get a new one. They cheerfully went out, quickly reattached the grille cover, and told me that they would not take any money for doing it. So instead, I am paying it back by telling the world what honest mechanics you will find here! It’s such a relief to find great, honest, reasonably priced auto mechanics. I highly recommend Japanese Auto Center.”

“I called Nicks to get a quote for Honda A1 a2 service. He gave me the quote which was less than the dealer. Nick checked it out. He was honest and charged me less than the original quote. I didn't even need the tire rotation or air filter. Car was done quickly and he even called me to tell me. Other places seem to forget to do that notification. “The tire shop is a big plus for me. Excellent service shop with a great tire shop too. The system indicator reflected low tire pressure in one of my tires. Fearing for my safety and the safety of others, I called the shop and they said I should bring the car in. They not only checked that tire, they checked all of them and also checked the tire pressure indicator too. A huge sigh of relief to have such a reputable service and tire shop as Southbay Euro Car. “I had the BEST experience with Atlas transmissions! Jimmy is honest, professional & so nice!! Atlas transmissions did a phenomenal job on my 2014 Honda CRV! I took my Honda to the dealer and they wanted to charge me $6000 for a new transmission. Then I called around and they weren't as expensive as the dealer, but still expensive. Not only did Jimmy give me a great deal on my transmission, they did a fantastic job. Jimmy sent me photos of the transmission that was being put in my car, & kept me up-to-date and did it in a timely manner. Jimmy also told me to come back in a month to make sure everything was running properly. It's been about six months now and my Honda is running great!! I did have a different issue and took my Honda to see Jimmy, knowing that he is honest, and Jimmy helped me with that as well. I can't say enough nice things about Atlas transmissions or Jimmy! I will always recommend Atlas transmissions to everybody that needs a new transmission. Why go anywhere else?!”
