Tilly's in Rolling Hills has the best customer service. I've gone in over the years to buy things for myself and my teens. The sales people are always helpful, nice but not pushy. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is I wish they had a larger selection of brands for boys/men, especially in jeans/pants. Thank you to the sales people today who helped my son and I pick an outfit to fit a theme dance! You made our day.

I think I'm done shopping here. The latest was trying to return a pair of defective Vans sneakers. The shoes had a sharp point on the inside, and caused my daughter's ankle to bleed after the first day of wearing them.I had a feeling that they would be difficult at the store, so I called their customer support line beforehand, explained the situation, and received a return authorization number. The store employees on the other hand, tried to deny the return. The manager got involved and accepted the return for store credit. Not a huge deal, but with so many options to choose from in the future, I think I will shop at places were the employees are more pleasant, and the customer service is better.

I'm a woman over a certain age and don't consider Tillys to be geared towards my demographic but they made a fan out of my husband and I! We came here to find shoes that are recommended by my podiatrist and would fit with my custom orthotics. Nestor was the associate that helped us and boy did he provide excellent service. We felt like we were back in time where you were really a valued customer! Nestor was so friendly, helpful, patient and knowledgeable. Shoe after shoe he brought out multiple sizes, unlaced them, removed the insoles and then handed the shoe to me! As Nestor's shift was ending he handed us over to Oscar who was just as nice. We will definitely recommend and return to Tillys just because of Nestor and the great customer service from all the associates we encountered!!

Returned an online PayPal order for store credit a week ago. No problem. Went to return the 2nd part of my shipment for the same and was denied by a blonde curly haired chick who claimed to be the manager. Said it couldn't be done. Ho I just did it a week prior! Just walked out of the Del Amo Mall location with no fuss. I'm local but I'll just drive up the road from here on out.

I would like to start by saying, if you take a look at my reviews, I am one to leave positive reviews. So to leave a one-star is out of my nature. I've been a shopper of this Tillys for years and always experienced great service. But yesterday was an experience. As usual, myself and my friend were greeted with kindness by an amazing young lady named Kay, she was a ball of joy and so kind. Unfortunately while standing in line a manager approached one of the employees and was extremely rude and belittling toward her. We were embarrassed for her. That was strike one. Strike two came about when our cashier by the name Cylina (who was so sweet and kind) needed assistance from a manager named BRAULIO. When coming to assist he already had a face of annoyance and disgust. Strike three was the way he handled the situation. He spoke down to us and was extremely condescending. He rolled his eyes and made faces as if he was higher than anyone and everyone. He slammed hangers and tossed clothes around. He walked away with a tantrum. Background of myself. I've managed many facilities and even worked in human resources. If any of my employees acted the way he did towards any of their coworkers or even to customers I would have to skip the steps of reprimanding and straight to termination because he would not be an asset to the company nor holding the standards that tillys carries. Now the saving grace would be Kay and Cylina. I do not want to not let them go unnoticed. They showed kindness and professionalism. Kay, the other manager approached us and apologized for the situation like a true manager. I will continue to shop there. I will not let this situation stop me from entering the store that I love. But I will not be disrespected or watch individuals be disrespected either. I will be contacting the store manager Griselda to express my concerns and experience. See something say something.

A bit late with this review, but I visited back in Late May/Early June for a pair of som doc martens after both dr martens direct and tillys.com had issues with my online orders and left me walking around hopelessly in my old, dusty Adidas Continental 80s. Unfortunately, I had to go out into the real world and interact with real people, but Destiny (the salesperson Destiny, and maybe destiny as in fate, too) at this store went above and beyond to correct the online order and let me purchase their last pair in store instead. I had a flight to Mexico to the next day and I have no idea what I would have done without my trusty Doc Martens (except, you know like, wear a different pair, it's not that serious). Crisis averted thanks to Destiny. Also, the store was clean and well organized. Somehow I feel like that's Destiny's doing as well. Give her a raise or make her territory manager or CEO or something. It's only fair.

First, I'm a grumpy old man who never writes glowing reviews. But this Tilly's has the BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE I have seen anywhere. Super friendly, helpful, patient manager & employees. I was looking for some Van's shoes on online clearance for my daughter. I first went the Del Amo mall store, who simply said no, try the PCH store. I came here with low expectations but the employees enthusiastically searched online and found me an even better price. Shoes were delivered to my house the next day. Bummer, too small, I ordered the wrong size. Went back to the store with my daughter, different employees, and just as helpful. They let her try on other shoes to verify fit, then quickly & painlessly did a swap and reordered the right size. They set the bar very high for customer service, even on this clearance item where they are losing money. I'm very impressed, I can't say enough about these wonderful people. We will come back to this store, even though Del Amo is closer. Bravo Tilly's PCH!

Today, I walked into Tilly's and sadly was met by Braulio as I entered for a return of a misprinted shirt. I had been in the week prior for the issue I was told that's how the shirt is by Braulio. When I called the company of the name brand shirt, they stated no, it's printed backwards just return it or exchange. They didn't have one to exchange so I was just going to get a different color same brand. But, Braulio's way of greeting was not pleasant. "Mask"! "You need a mask in here". I stated that the mask mandate was lifted and it's not required and I have an exemption. He states "I will advise her to not help you if you don't get a mask", another customer walked up and said she had just told him that exact same statement and he's just not getting it. I told him I'm not putting one on that a mandate is not a law a mandate is a suggestion and I have an exemption. I wouldn't be here if he knew what he was doing and if he knew his products. That the shirt was printed backwards and HE'S the employee that accidentally kept my receipt the previous visit. He gave me a mask. When I did my return I did not wear it. The cashier apologized over and over. She did my refund apologize again. I left but, politely set down his mask and exclaimed that I didn't need it. He was not happy. Called corporate and they stated he had no authority to tell me that I needed to leave or that he would not allow any associate to assist me in my return/exchange. That there's no mandate and even if there was.... I was an exempted individual with a SERVICE DOG. Corporate headquarters was amazing the cashier was amazing, Braulio is a very rude person that pushes his authority past what corporate headquarters have stated and what our state and county has stated. He doesn't get to make a companies rules and choose who he allows in or serviced. The corporate office stated that to me. A case was filed and they stated they would be getting ahold of him and apologized. I'll choose to shop at a different location if I still choose to support this company after being told to leave due to a medical condition that doesn't allow me to wear a mask because I can fall and possibly smother with a mask on.

Was greeted the moment I walked in, which is huge to me. After I was greeted I was immediately offered assistance - another plus. Explained what I was looking for, was escorted to all areas and was told by the employee that she would give me time to browse and if I had or needed any more help she would make herself available ... SCORE!!! I'm huge on customer service and that's what I rec'd today.
