Had a rude employee help me out yesterday around 7:25pm. A 16 year old looking chubby kid. Terrible costumer service, telling me & my 9yr old son the reason he's being disrespectful is because someone pulled a knife on him the day before & called him fat. An incident that had nothing to do with me or my son, yet he decided it was a great idea to tell me & my son while being rude. Stay away from this store & this employee in particular unless you want to get disrespected by a 16 yr old goof.

This is my favorite game store!
I come here every once in a while to get Magic: The Gathering cards or look through bulk singles. It's a very comfortable place for me. I'm a woman and I used to be kind of afraid of game stores, but I have felt nothing but safe here. Great selection of MTG and Warhammer items, really fun draft events, and kind staff. Some people have been saying that the staff is rude, but I have never once gotten that impression. They always help me if I'm looking for something obscure, and when I was just starting to get into MTG, they were very kind, explained things well, and didn't gatekeep. Also I always find great gifts for family members when I'm here, which is a huge bonus!

I have never encountered more rude or combative staff. Blatently upcharging and selling false products to children and families !
And when asked about such they claim its a "convience fee", what the hell??? Unacceptable, I and everyone I bring here will now be visiting a different local shop that respects theit customers !

For the majority of the time employees are pretty chill. However there is one employee that is very rude and doesn't have any customer service qualities. Used to be a pretty decent store to go to for stuff but lately it hasn't been up to par. The prices are also higher than other card stores.

Not so friendly environment like other reviews state, only star they are getting from me is because I was able to purchase something for my daughter. Other than that very rude personnel, employees don’t take pride in what they do nor to represent the company. Company has a kid working with no manners whatsoever.

As an employee, I had instances of not being properly excused for lunch breaks, and was withheld my proper pay. I faced attitudes of Ableism, Racial Discrimination, Religious Discrimination, and Sexism from the owner. When I requested to talk to HR about it, I was denied by the owner and immediately silenced in the following conversation. Hours were moved around in a way that punished me as a direct result of a conversation with a female coworker that was given the opportunity to talk that I was denied.3 years later - they've lied to their employees saying I settled my wage claim. Sent my household a catalog addressed to my late mother of 9 years, and banned my brother (who was in good standing) when he complained about the mailing as well as about the religious discrimination comments he heard behind his back in-store.

The good: Lots of interesting games and toys to explore. Friendly staff. Gaming events every week.The not so good: I've been there 3 times to find specific games and have yet to leave with the game I wanted. First time. The game wasn't in their system and I was told they couldn't get it. Second time, different game. Only one version of the game in their system (not the version I wanted of course), it's not in stock, they weren't sure when it would be and they don't do special orders so they can't get me the version I want. Third time, different game, same result. Only one version in their system, not sure when it will be back in stock and no special orders.I would love to be able to support the store and buy stuff from them but if they don't have the things I'm interested in AND they are unwilling to get it for me then why should this be the first place to look when shopping for games?

This is so much more than games! You'll find fun things for every person you can think of, literally from 3 yrs to 93 yrs. It will take more than one visit to take in all they have to offer and most definitely worth exploring!

I thought this store was really cool. Had tons of different games from board games to card games. Looks like they have card tournaments as well with tables setup. Took a selfie with this tiger looking thing since I saw a selfie sticker on the ground lol.

Wow, where do I begin. Called looking for a specific game (utter nonsense ) and it was unfortunately sold out. I was devastated. I thought that was it for my evening planned with friends coming over expecting to have a quality night in. By the grace of God I was directed to Erick, the board game expert at the Game Chest. He was on break on the moment but assured me if I came into the store he would do his absolute best to salvage my evening. Let me say, there was not one lie told to me on that phone call as when I came in, that was exactly what happened. We ran through a few games with Erik taking his time to describe his opinions and experiences with the games. His opinions should be considered factual and there is a reason they referred to him as the expert on premises as he gave accurate, concise and considerate recommendations to me based on what I was looking for. He was knowledgeable and empathic to my situation. I will most definitely be coming back to the game chest for all my board and card gaming needs. 5 stars.

Vast collection of board games, puzzles, toys, etc. Very pleasant staff. Weekly gaming events. Spare tables for customers to host their own gaming sessions.
