Found this gem of a bike shop and been going back ever since. The Dropout crew really know bikes with a passion for all types of rides. They don’t throw unnecessary repairs at you for a quick buck. They value the shop-customer relationship more than other shops I’ve visited.

Great people and super helpful, prices are fair and they let me ride on one of their electric bikes while they fixed my current bike. They also have a pet squirrel ?️

I had a great experience with the friendly staff. They were fast and did an amazing job on my bike, my bike feels way better than when I had first bought it. They were communicative of the status on arriving parts or on how far along my bike was in terms of the repairs. Great with Ebikes and normal bikes.

Nice shop! I was looking for a more local option than where I bought my bike. They're located in the heart of "Downtown" Torrance on Sartori, which conveniently for me, is 5 minutes. Its a nice smaller shop and the amount of time and attention paid me as a client was top end. I can't say enough good things about their knowledge, their explanations, how well they treat their client and their love for cycling. My bike is a bit of a race bike so it was more than overdue for maintenance (by 2 years). I'm glad they were there to go over the maintenance with me and just take care of the bike efficiently. I am back on the road much quicker than if I had performed the work on my own.

If you value your time and safety then you will appreciate working with Dropout Cyclery. If there is this compelling force inside you that is trying to squeeze in as many rides as possible before you die, then this is the bike shop that understands this addiction and will do everything they can to get you pedaling again. If you love riding bicycles, well, they do too. This is more than just a bike shop.

My friend drop off her Lectric Ebike and they did a great job. Explained everything and I appreciate the personal attention to detail. I would recommend this shop for ebike repairs. They also updated the gear shifter which may it better. Thank you for all you did.

Update: Jonathan and Andrew, the heart and soul of this cycling sanctuary, stay true to their love for the shop, while Chris's move to a corporate giant leaves a mom-and-pop-sized hole in their local vibe. Chris's departure from The DropOut for a clothing retail shop means he traded is love for fashion and dropped his passion for bicycles for now. Let's pedal on at our cherished local bike shops, where the sport is genuine. We can only pray Chris doesn’t switch to decaf. ?

This shop is top notch! They know the gear, and the riding experience, highly recommend! Great mechanic, solid owner/rider, has loads of history and knows the industry, listens well, they put people( and the riders goals first), an awesome shop
