Incredibly disappointed with my experience. I drove up from Orange County and the shop was closed without any notice on their website, phone, or social. To make matters worse, there was a staff member there receiving shipment, who completely blew me off when I tried to ask a question. I'll be taking my business directly to the Filson website, because I don't feel comfortable spending $500 with a retailer who has that little investment in their customer experience.

This place is a hidden gem. An assortment of quality brands and a shopping experience that pays homage to the old brick and mortar stores where you got to enjoy the fun of finding a new unexpected product. It's always fun stopping by this shop when I'm in the area.

Ummm ... Yelp & website hours need updated so people don't drive across the city to a closed shop like I just did. Super bummer. I'd rate it a one on this experience but that's not fair. To be fair to other people reading reviews, I had to rate something in order to tell you to CALL TO MAKE SURE THEY ARE OPEN BEFORE HEADING HERE. Ugh. Real Star Rating : Bummed.

I just had the genuine pleasure to do business with Stars and Stripes owner, Mr. Kiyo T. I found him to be affable, fair, and kind -- and (as it has been my policy to only review businesses that I think deserve 5 stars) I was compelled to share my positive takeaway. The store is unique -- stocked with an interesting, carefully curated selection of lines and products. If you have the opportunity to visit the store in Torrance, CA, you'll enjoy it. Otherwise, you'll find their website beautifully done and an equally pleasurable shopping experience.

This is a friendly local business owned by a very knowledgeable family man. They mainly focus on American men's clothing that ranges from streetwear, outdoors, and clothing accessories like bags, hats, and watches. However, I mainly come here for clothes shopping because they have many items that are limited in supply and exclusive to this business. And all of that at fair and reasonable prices!

Nice low key store that sells quality stuff. Bought a Roark shirt that I"m very happy with! The sales associate that was working also helped me out a lot and was super friendly.

They carry "Field Notes" (great pocket notebooks), I've been trying to find these for a long time!! Stars and Stripes definitely have one of the best selections I've seen in clothing and items in a long time. Very great quality items - All of their products are "made in the US" so that's something to really consider. Woolrich, Filson, Pendleton and many more. The interior design is nicely done. Will definitely come back again. The owner is very nice and a great person to talk to! what a great business.

They carry Filson, Topo Designs, Brooks, Stanley and Woolrich Boots. Love all their stuff. And the staff was friendly and welcoming. Definitely coming back here when I'm in the area.
