Best. Pharmacy. Ever! I’m usually not one to leave reviews for businesses, unless they are really special. Uyen, the pharmacist and her staff are truly the best I have ever dealt with. The attention to detail, the professionalism, and her passion for her customer’s well-being, is really something special. I don’t live in the Torrance area, but I still rely on Southwood Pharmacy to keep me on track with my medications. They communicate with my doctors and my insurance company to make sure I get the meds I need. I also appreciate the occasional call or text from the pharmacist checking in on me and to make sure my questions are answered. Outstanding service from an outstanding pharmacist and her team!

This pharmacy is locally owned. The store is clean an inviting. Uyen and Maria, and the rest of staff are friendly and helpful. Although the pharmacy is smaller than the major pharmacies (CVS, WALGREENS), Southwood Pharmacy is efficient. They are very experienced and on top of your medical needs. Uyen is awesome. She not only makes you feel welcome, she is accurate, organized, and listens to your needs. I see her as a good friend. I would highly recommend Southwest Pharmacy.

I will not be back. They are short staffed and too busy answering phones while customers in store are waiting. Prescription was 5x more expensive then my previous refill at my other pharmacy who was backordered. Not a good first impression, overall.

I love this tiny pharmacy. The pharmacist calls you by name, makes suggestions, and it is truly a personal experience. I visit her every week for my new "blister" pack. If you don't know what a blister pack is, visit the pharmacy--you will be glad you did.

What an amazing pharmacy! This pharmacy provides good old-fashioned customer service with its knowledgeable, caring, attentive and amazing staff and service. Uyen the pharmacist is one of a kind. She genuinely cares about you and is always so happy, optimistic and energetic. Her staff is amazing and so friendly too just like her. My whole family, including my adult kids, love Uyen and Southwood Pharmacy. We're grateful to have a neighborhood pharmacy that can outshine big name pharmacies through its services and pricing.

I just happened to accidentally stumble upon this hidden gem of a pharmacy. The pharmacist, Uyen, and her absolutely lovely staff make every experience so pleasant. They go above and beyond and they basically become your extended family. We moved all our prescriptions from mail order to Southwood and we have not regretted our decision one bit.

The whole staff there is really amazing. Uyen, Krystal, Yvonne all are hard and dedicated workers who really care about your medicine and health. Also a great place to go to get vaccinated without having to wait in line. Proud to be a lifetime customer.

After being treated like a criminal at CVS and Walgreens for years I switched to here. Even though I pay a bit extra for some medications, they are always in stock and I'm treated like a human being. Well worth it, wonderful owner and team!!!

This is how pharmacies should be ran. Uyen and her staff are completely amazing. She truly cares and wants to make sure you are doing right by your meds. I've been going to her for 2 years now and I have to say CVS has nothing on her. She packages my meds every month and has been supportive as a friend. She is like family and I wouldn't have it any other way. She's fast, accurate, and extremely personable. She truly cares about each and every one of her clients. It never occurred to me to provide feedback on a pharmacy before but Uyen and this business are far beyond what I ever thought a pharmacy could be. When my doctor dropped the ball on filling a prescription I called Uyen - she had already followed up with them. When I was ready to get a COVID booster she told me I should consider waiting for the updated booster, which became available 2 weeks later. She's knowledgeable and caring, she knows and asks about my family, she gets my monthly prescription ready before I even contact her about it... I'd do my taxes and get my oil changed here if I could. This place is the best.

Such a great pharmacy with a “real” pharmacist from UCLA who gets to know you and your family and can make practical suggestions regarding prescriptions. I was especially shocked to find their prices less than CVS. In a pinch they have been kind enough to deliver prescriptions to my front door. Love them!
