Best gym ever! My all girls gym dreams have been answered. I love coming here and having the most amazing workouts. Super clean equipment and machines. Everyone who works here is also super sweet.

This women's gym is more than just a place to exercise, it's my happy place! Karen's infectious smile lights up the front desk, and Margarita's meticulous cleaning magic makes me feel pampered even while breaking a sweat. The class variety is incredible, from challenging yoga, Zumba, cardio classes, free weight classes, step classes to many more. Each instructor brings their own unique energy, pushing me to reach new limits and leave feeling empowered. Joining this gym 9 months ago was one of the best decisions I've ever made. It's not just a gym, it's a supportive community that makes me feel welcome, motivated, and like I can achieve anything I set my mind to.

The facility is nice and having a woman only gym is great. However, they nickel and dime you to death with fees. There is a fee if you have to cancel your intro meeting the same day, there is a fee if you have to cancel attending a class with less than 24 hours notice, and there is an annual membership fee of $25 even if you pay a higher rate monthly instead of committing to a one-year membership. I am going to cancel my membership because it's just not worth the price.

Women only environment is so much better. There are the "fancy" ladies that don't know how to be courteous and not block the door when people are leaving the classes. But I can laugh at their Lord Farquaad attitudes and enjoy not being around creepy men. It's clean and well maintained. It's priced about the same as other gyms and is good for a beginner gym goer like me. Bring your towel, bring your water, bring all your stuff to lock away in a locker with your own lock. The sauna is awesome, the steam room is awesome.

Warm, welcoming environment that caters to just women! I bought my mother in law a one year membership (with spa features included) and it is the highlight of her week, every week! The classes are unlimited, instructors are professional and friendly, and the easy sign-up through the app makes it a breeze. So glad there is such a great gym exclusive to women here in the South Bay.

I couldn't be happier I have become a member at Southbay Woman Gym/Spa. There are great equipment and class options. I am impressed with how clean the facility is. The locker room has both wet and dry saunas, showers, and lockers. The gym has a full SPA! They offer many group classes (yoga, spin, Zumba etc), plus Pilates (with reformer machines). They offer different membership options. I have the membership that includes a once per month spa option (body scrub, facial, or massage)! This is the BEST gym in the Southbay. Best in options and price. Plus, the spa?! So HAPPY!

I really love this gym and spa. I take three yoga classes per week and get the monthly massage. The facility is very clean and friendly. Karen at the front desk is so welcoming every day! The massage package for about $60 extra is a good deal compared to what most massages are in this area and the massages have always been great. I highly recommend this gym/spa!

I used to be a member of this gym way back in the day when it was Total Women's. I'm moving back to Torrance and thought that I'd stop by and try it out again.THE GOOD:I signed up for a three day trial with the gal at the front counter. She was helpful and the process was super easy, so no complaints about the service at this level of interaction. I enjoyed the dry sauna. The free-weight area was nice. The mirrors throughout the workout room were clean. The gym was pretty empty when I was there so equipment was readily available. THE BAD:The amenities are lacking. There is no towel service, you can't event pay extra to rent one. There are no loaner locks either. (The nice girl at the front counter hooked me up with a towel from the spa tho).Sadly, it looks like there have been zero repairs or renovations since I was last a member. The locker rooms looked run down, outdated, and smelled bad (probably the carpet). The showers had mold / mildew in the caulking, while the steam room smelled like foot fungus. The wood doors in the toilets are all scuffed up and in want of a refinish. The workout room also seemed poorly maintained. There were very strong chemical air fresheners in the space (I imagine to cover up some sort of funk). Out of the three treadmills I tried, all were super noisy. A 4th was broken (it had a sign that said so). Seems like they don't keep up on equipment maintenance. I didn't use equipment other than the free-weights and the treadmill. VERDICT:Having women's only spaces is kinda rare, and so I really wanted to like this gym. However, the fact that the space is not well maintained makes it not worth the high pricepoint of $59-69 per month. If I wanted a space that was smelly and run-down I would go to the 24Hour Fitness down the street.

So much better than the old gym that used to e here! Great part of the community hopefully will be here for many years! I only wish they had bigger weights and a traditional squat rack. Women lift heavy too! Love this place. Clean and air conditioned with good selection of equipment

Love this place! It’s so much better since it’s been taken over by the new owner! It’s such a positive environment, the place is always so clean, and everyone is so kind! I won’t go anywhere else!

I joined this gym after a long absence from all gyms. Pros: clean, women only, plenty (many too many?) cardio machines, Pilates, yoga, Zumba and other classes, weightlifting area is usually empty. Cons: a little lean on the weight lifting equipment, would really like to see something like a trap bar or maybe if saving space, a landmine and barbell to add some bigger weights for landmine squats. Also a landmine is very versatile for presses and rotational core work. People are friendly and the atmosphere is less intimidating. I also like that the music isn't blaring like a rock concert and it's not freezing. I can't speak to any of the spa services, I just use the gym for working out.
