Great staff!! Chevon is my hairstylist. I've been a client for over 5 years. Very Professional, prompt and consistent. Creative and artistic styles. Protective haircare and a one stop shop! I get all my hair products and accessories there, as well. A very lovely experience, always satisfied. Thank you!!

I found this salon from Yelp, and they didn't disappoint! I had the silk press and trim and let me tell you Chevon is a miracle worker. She repaired my dry and damaged hair and when I left the salon my hair was silky straight, shiny and most of all HEALTHY again! She uses quality products which repair the hair and they smell so good too. The salon itself is gorgeous inside with a beautiful chandelier and chic aesthetics which make you feel like you're truly being pampered. They also sell jewelry and accessories if you really want to treat yourself! My silk press lasted a long time like a good three weeks, which says a lot for me as I had it done for a wedding and I danced all night on the hot dance floor, I'm a busy mom of three on the go and I sweat in my hair at night. So I was amazed at how long my silk press lasted! When I went back to my wash and go, my curl pattern was still there waiting for me, so I'm a very happy girl. I was so happy that I went back to Chevon for a second visit and she once again did a FABULOUS job on my hair! You must try Chevon, you will not be disappointed she is truly talented at what she does!

Mind you I had been a good and faithful client during this time driving an hour to get my hair done by her every two weeks, showed up on time, and I tipped her. I would love to give the salon a good review based on the actual styling she did on my hair. She did a very nice job on my hair the times she styled it, but her policies and viewpoint of customer service leads me to give her one star because it is so crucial in my experience with her. Apparently Chevon has a weave rescheduling and cancellation policy that she enforces no matter the circumstances. Basically if you need to reschedule YOU CANT and she will keep your deposit and reject you as a client if you do reschedule or cancel. She has a long list of rules to read on the website that do state no cancellation or rescheduling weaves but it also says you can reschedule once within 48 hours on an appointment so it's confusing to know that doesn't include the weaves. however, let's be real. You would think there is some flexibility or exceptions based on an emergency or it being your first offense. I don't know any other businesses that won't allow a reschedule at all! 24-48 hours notice for rescheduling and canceling is the norm for most businesses! I gave her A FULL 6 DAYS NOTICE that I had a work conflict come up and would need to reschedule the appointment. Chevon was very impersonal and unwilling to accommodate me even when I asked multiple times if we could reschedule given the 6 day notice. I paid her full $50.00 deposit and even ordered hair from her. Now I will need to find a new stylist as well as take out the previous half up half down hairstyle she put in which is COMPLICATED to take down and now I have to wait on her to send the hair to me before I can make an appointment with someone else! VERY INCONVENIENT SITUATION SHE CREATED which could have been avoided by simply accommodating me and rescheduling my appointment!! I am still waiting on the hair since this happened two days ago... I will need to update this review as to how long it took her to send me the hair or if she even does. (We will see...) Chevon stated her policy is this way because she has many clients that fill up appointments fast and the weaves block out 4 hours of her day that she could have filled the space with someone else. If that's the case a 6 day notice of rescheduling is plenty of time to fill a spot. Especially if you are in such high demand. For this reason it is stressful to make an appointment with her and not know if she is going to blacklist you because you can't keep a weave appointment. I suppose you need a doctors note in order to have any other obligations that interfere with her "high demand" hair appointments. If you know you won't have any emergencies then go ahead and book a weave with her but if you're like me and your work schedule may change don't lose your $50 deposit and be stuck scrambling for someone else to do your hair! SMH! I'm EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED she thinks running business this way is acceptable and hope she soon understands this is ridiculous and unrealistic for all clients. I don't know who she thinks she is but even celebrity hair stylist are able to reschedule clients. She already gets to keep the $50 deposit which is a new thing stylist are doing in my opinion I never heard of this but I understand if an appointment is canceled they want to be able to collect money for their time but then to blacklist a client for something they have no control over and for the first time is just wrong. I could see if I was consistently rescheduling then I would say that's fair. Shame on her for her lack of care and customer service only thinking about herself as far as circumstances. I AM PISSED!!! It's a joy to share my experience at Sharp Beauty Lounge. The ambience is superb! Chevron, is my hair stylist , she's very professional, talented, and extremely welcoming! Her gift with hair is totally, at another level, it's nothing she can't do, when it comes to hair, from natural hair, to ponytails, to weaves etc. Chevron, shampoos are very relaxing and soothing. I enjoyed going to Sharp Beauty Lounge, everyone in the shop is polite. Looking for a professional hair stylist . Try Chevron, you will be totally happy. It's a "Lavishing" experience.

I really enjoyed my experience at the Sharp Beauty Lounge. I chose to get an infinite ponytail and I loved it I received so many compliments, Chevon is extremely professional and so nice. If you're looking for a beautician that actually cares about your hair and doesn't just do your hair make your appointment as soon as possible.
