Steve is a complete con artist. No matter what you do, do not work with him. He made my life a complete nightmare for 3 months. My story is very similar to the other reviews here, Steve got prepaid for a container that I was shipping from Oregon to Beirut. Upon arrival of the container Steve stopped responding to any emails or phone calls, and wouldn't send the Bill of Lading. The port would not release my container unless I paid MSC for the shipping cost (which I already had paid Steve). After a month or so Steve said he used my money for medical and health issues. He stole my money and disappeared. Apparently this is his signature move. I spent two months and thousands of dollars to get the container released from Beirut port and get personal belongings out of the container and delivered to our home in Beirut. Here is Steve's email to me after stealing our money and forcing me to pay for shipping twice:"Hello Omar, I wish to inform you that I had a serious heart attack in January and was hospitalized, which has cost me much more than I realized. Consequently, this has left me short of funds to pay your freight. I sincerely apologize for this situation and the only way to resolve this situation immediately is to pay the carrier (MSC) the freight that is owing and I will reimburse you as soon as I recover from my present situation. If you agree, I will send you the MSC bank wire transfer details or you could pay MSC directly in Beirut."
