I cannot thank store manager Rafael enough for helping me purchase something that in one week's time has already helped change my life and get me on the right track to heal my injuries.I strolled in within the last hour of the store being open and he was welcoming and kind- he listened intently to what I was going through pain wise and what my diagnoses were (ensuring he would not contraindicate any of my dr's suggestions and could guide me in the right direction as I was looking for a chair to actually be comfortable in and alleviate my compressed spine). We tried two models that he suggested (spent over 30 minutes together) and I landed on "the perfect chair" which came in a size just right for me as I am a petite woman. The chair is not only beautiful, but it allows me to have a safe place to rest and relax as I recover. I kept finding myself "set back" in my healing journey because all of my furniture is incredibly unsupportive.Getting the right furniture is imperative to healing - I am convinced of this. I met another manager (Guy) when I came back in to make the purchase and he was also incredibly helpful and straightforward. They did not try to push me to buy anything, they just remained supportive. Delivery was awesome and quick setup by their delivery team! Fantastic team here at relax the back.

I commend Rafael for his over-the-top customer service and professionalism. I needed assistance on a massage chair we purchased at Relax the Back in 2020. Rafael jumped on it soonest and had the solution set up for the next day. It worked perfect! We purchased 4 executive chairs a few years ago at this store and we continue to use them - top quality.If you are in the market for the top-of-the-line chairs or massage chairs, check them out, your body will thank you!Thank you, Rafael, for being there for us!

We call Rafael "The Doctor". When my boyfriend and I went into the store Rafael allowed us a moment to walk in & look around for about 60 seconds and immediately offered to let him know if we have any questions. We did have questions. My boyfriend has a back injury along with sciatica. "The Doctor" immediately had questions about what position does he usually sleep, what type of injury and what did my boyfriend's doctor tell him? Then, Rafael "The Doctor" went into detail about the type of bed which would be best & the best sleeping positions. He also knew a great deal about disk injuries. I really recommend this store in particular & to speak with Rafael. He's very stern -a no nonsense type of guy. We really like that about him. He took us seriously and he's definitely to be taken seriously. He's extremely knowledgeable & diligent with the transaction. We bought a Queen size Technology bed with the cooling system for hot sleepers. I'll definitely be back to get one of those awesome, massaging, space chair things.

I'm short, so it's difficult to find chairs that allow are shallow enough for me to have my back rest against the back of the chair and yet allow my feet to lay flat on the ground. After EXTENSIVE research, I found my perfect desk chair at Relax The Back. I was able to choose what color I wanted and I chose not to have armrests. The customer service was great and it didn't take long for my chair to arrive. I love it!

Pam was great! My physical therapist down the street recommended a Tempur Pedic lumbar cushion that they sold here so I came thinking in thinking this would be a quick grab-n-go situation. However, Pam, the owner, spoke with us for a bit and even had me test the cushion I was about to purchase while laying on top of a mattress (which was super helpful since this is how I will be using the cushion). Anyway, she was very kind and extremely knowledgeable. A really cool thing she mentioned that they do is custom lumbar cushions for seats! I cannot stand the ones that come standard in cars, since we are all built differently. May be coming back for that soon, and will definitely be buying our next mattress here. Great shop, stop by if you are in the area!

This place is a true gem! The owners are very kind and accommodating. I have been visiting regularly and it is such a treat to melt away the stress of the weeks with a massage. Stop in and treat yourself. They have a great membership program for regulars. They have also really helped my husband who suffers from chronic back pain. He leaves pain free after every visit!

Above and beyond from beginning to end. Super helpful and respectful of my time and energy. The professional who answered the phone made me feel welcome and answered my questions so I hopped in my car right away and got everything I wanted without issue. I didn't know this store stocked everything relax-the-back carries! Wow! The other store I called was completely inappropriate for a receptionist, a salesperson or a manager. However, I got the impression (due to the sheer audacity on display) that she was the manager! The manager at this store in Torrance is exactly what any customer will want to see after a 45 minute drive in LA traffic!

My wife and I had a very good experience here. Frankie AND Rafael were both very good at running this store. Both genuinely showed they cared about us our order. They both called me back when promised. Kudos to both of them for doing a fantastic job. If we ever have a need for another one of their products we would not hesitate to come to the store knowing that we will have another good experience.

The gentleman working was nice and helpful. The store was slow but it was only one salesman in the store so he had to kinda stop with us to help other customers. My husband and I were looking for a new massage chair. They didn't have a big selection of what we were looking for. Although my girlfriend got her massage chair from here a few years ago and loves it.They also sale mattresses and office chairs, and some small massagers. We didn't purchase anything we found our chair elsewhere. But the service was good.

Frankie was great! She helped with choosing the correct back cushion and seat cushion for long car rides. I was picky about the color and she was able to get it from another location within a day. Very friendly and efficient service!

My wife and I have been to this store a number of times and have purchased some of their wonderful products. The first time that we went there we were a bit discouraged with what we thought were high prices. After visiting various other businesses we realized that the quality of Relax the Back products surpassed any others that we had seen. The other places had such cheap and soft products where at Relax the Back we noticed that everything was sturdy, strong and way better quality. Finally, I would like to thank Donna Williams the sales consultant for her time, help, knowledge and her patience. She was wonderful to deal with and made our shopping there very easy. My advice to all reading this review is if Relax the Back has what you are looking for, save yourself time, effort and money and purchase it here.
