I stayed in this hotel during the US Shogi Tournament 2024 and it was a fantastic experience. Easily the best hotel breakfast I've ever had, the staff was very nice, and the location is very close to a lot of good restaurants and things to do. I definitely plan to stay here again if I'm ever in the area.

I love this hotel!!! We went there in 2018 and I can still remember that I enjoyed this place. It’s just a small hotel but it’s very comfortable. To me, they serve the best breakfast. I’m Asian so I love rice, bacon and salmon but they also have the typical American breakfast like cereal, bagel and others. Oh and this is the only hotel I know that have bidets in their toilet, how cool.? LOL. If we go back to California, we will definitely stay here again. ?

I checked into my room late at night went straight to bed. Woke up to take a shower and noticed the tub was filthy with hair and signs a woman was on her period. I called to front desk to request for manager amd then requested to for head house keeping to come to my room. The lady at the front desk hung up in my faceI went downstairs to confront her as to why she hung up in my face? Her reply was because "I was making a complaint "She gets on the phone speaking her language and laughing the whole time as to where she was making a joke out of it. When asked for management she denied me but call someone to come up front. When they get there she told them nevermind because she thought about it."SHE WAS BEING A KAREN" wasn't no reason to call them. I wasn't being disrespectful.I feel I only received this treatment because of my skin color.She was rude and disrespectful. This hotel discriminate against other races and doesn't extent the professionalism to every paying guest. If the color of my skin isn't good enough to receive the proper professionalism I deserve then they don't my money or other people of color to so business with them.I don't like to play the race card because we our all equal but somethings is hard to deny. It was plain RACISM!!!!!

This is a rare inn where I would not want to stay as a Japanese customer due to the poor customer service attitude of the insane Japanese female staff who are not fluent in customer service or language. My friend delivered something to me, but he kept saying "no", which made me anxious. Even though it was simply a lack of information sharing on the part of the front desk, there was no apology at all, and the explanation about the stay was redundant and didn't get the point across, leaving me with the impression that I was being made fun of and not showing any hospitality whatsoever.

Interesting hotel. It looks to be Japanese owned, which was interesting, by including a fancy bidet toilet. Nothing fancy, but very clean room, and efficient check in. That's the check boxes for me. Very good, overall. I'd be happy to stay here again. I would love it if the coffee shop was open on weekends.Rooms: Very nice, clean, simple. Nice bathroom!

Clean rooms and bathroom.Excellent customer service.Very helpful staff. Affordable.Rooms: Clean. Fridge, microwave, coffee, TV. 2 full beds. Hardwood floors.Safety: Safe area. Quite.Food & drinks: Breakfast on site, open buffet. Free coffee, ice tea and water.

A Japanese business style hotel complete with Toto washlet. The rooms were clean although the building and furniture are a little tired. Located in a quiet area close to Honda corporate HQ.

I wish I could give this hotel a lower rating. We are here due to the sudden death of a family member and needed to stay in San Pedro. We used Hotwire to book the hotel sight unseen and got this room in Torrance instead. The hotel had to authorize the refund and refused. I guess they have more greed than humanity or decency. Do not stay at this property.

Great for a budget friendly hotel near LA. Rooms are a little outdated, but they did a great job at giving it a modern touch. The coolest part of the room was that the toilet came with a bidet. Friendly staff and tons of available free parking. Overall, satisfied with our 2-day stay and we would definitely stay there again.
