Dirty, poor service. The produce is bad. Homeless people everywhere and approaching me in parking lot. Shopping carts dirty, broken. I'm boycotting Ralphs, the target next door and the whole area. The police are unable to do anything because of all the people who are voting liberal and are letting criminals take over this city. Thanks a lot! Disgusting

This review is specifically for the disgusting bathrooms and Jason at self checkout. Not sure which is worse, but let's start with the bathrooms: smells like raw sewage, only one sink works, and seems to never be cleaned. Does management not care about the cleanliness of a grocery store?! Now Jason: he gives the worst predatory vibe to all young/attractive women I know. The only people that seem to like him are sweet old ladies that seem to not get enough attention. Jason always makes me feel incredibly uncomfortable when shopping. I go out of my way to avoid him when shopping and he seems to go out of his way to harass me with unwanted attention. There was a time in self checkout that I caught him looking over my shoulder to view my phone number as I put it in for the rewards! (Thank god it's an out of service number) There's been other times that he's harassed my mother as well. Every young attractive woman that is from the South Bay that I've talked to about this have also commented on how creepy and uncomfortable he makes them feel! I've also over heard him bragging about getting other female staff transferred, he is the one that needs to be transferred! Please send him far away! Send him to Palm Springs where he can assist all the nice old ladies out there that want the creepy attention.

Shopped there yesterday and was very disappointed as almost the entire freezer section was shut down and I learned it had been since Thursday. A sign should have been posted at the store entry so disabled people like me could have gone where they could have chosen to shop somewhere that would allow them to get all items needed. I always shop at the Rolling Hills Rd Ralph's, but was in Torrance yesterday. What a disappointment. Shame on you, Ralph's hierarchy!

Incompetent checker wouldnt scan my items for an instacart order. I told me over and over and she wouldnt listen. Then the manager comes over and takes her side. He takes the items and moves them onto another place. Aside from the customer not getting her order, I would have made about $10 on the delivery. After that I gave up working for Instacart due to the low pay and tiring work. The stores give you little assistance filling orders.

I would give them zero stars if possible. Their website and app is impossible navigate. their customer service is horrible. They do not care whether you shop here or ever come back. They NEVER answer the phone here, God forbid you have a question or need their help. There is no recourse if you are unhappy couldn't find what you wanted or a service person was rude to you here at Ralph's Torrance. And when you call Kroger customer service to try to get help, they too are inept! Skip this store and go to Vons or Pavilions. This place is low class.

Very clean and well-kept. Attendant at self checkout was very helpful. Was a little disappointed in their produce section, not a lot of different fruits and veggies to choose from. Couldn't even find spinach, bagged or fresh? Maybe just an off day?

Ever since Kroger became Ralphs' main product line, many of my staple brands are no longer available or their 'tags are missing.' It's really annoying, and I'm considering shopping at Trader Joe's instead. If you're picky about how you make your meals, prepare to be disappointed.

Just visited the Ralphs next to Target near Del Amo Mall and received sub par customer service. I got a prescription and the pharmacist told me there were free COVID masks near the self checkout area. I went through the line, no one there, and got Dawnmarie as a checker. No greeting, even after my enthusiastic greeting to her. She moved my selection with her scanning wand without touching it. She didn't know where the masks were either. So I asked near the self check out area. a gentleman there said he didn't know anything about it. I just stood there sort of in disbelief that was his final answer. I had told him the pharmacist referred him to this area. Still didn't know what I was talking about. FIRST of all, if I was told by someone who is working within your company you best move your body (or phone call) and find out what those employees are telling their customers so we (Ralphs) can provide a seamless flow of consistent customer service. Thoughtlessness on the head of employees who shrug and say not my concern. I'll remember this for a long time and whenever there's a lull in any friends conversation I will certainly bring this experience up. Really, Vons is not that far away.

I had a bit of a weird experience visiting this Ralph's location. So, first off the fellow who I dealt with (middle aged man, name tag said he likes Vegas) was pretty friendly. So, that saves them from receiving too bad a review. What brought me here was to cash in some change, using the store's coin counter. This machine is open for the public and has a limit of 1,000 dollars per transaction. I ended up needing 2 separate transactions because I brought in quite a lot of change. The entire time I am counting, one of the grocers (African American woman, 30s) is watching over my shoulder and asked me no fewer than 3 times about how much money I had. I thought this was a little bit invasive, because, respectfully, how much money I have is none of anybody's business. Next, I went to cash in. The fellow I mentioned earlier, as well as a blonde, middle aged grocer, looked at my slips of paper and conferred as though they were not used to the amount of money I had brought in. The woman made a comment to the man, which rubbed me the wrong way, saying something to the effect of "he should ask permission before coming in with all of that money". Lol, what? "Money talks, bs walks". Put up a sign that says you only want low rollers if you are going to be prejudiced toward folks with a lot of change. This is where the story gets really telling. The guy then told me that he only can give me about a third of the money now and that I would have to come back later for the rest. I figured he wouldn't try to rip me off, and I didn't feel like arguing with him, so I said Ok, left, and came back 5 hours later, where I was paid the rest of the money (which also saves this from being a terrible review). Now, after thinking this whole thing over, why does this machine, open to the public accept a certain amount of money that the grocers won't honor? It essentially discriminates against consecutive customers who use the machine in a row to its max. Also, I find it hard to believe that a grocery store as big and bustling as Ralph's does not have some kind of supply in the back office or something, otherwise how can they justify keeping a machine like that in their store? I question whether the grocers could have done more during my initial visit (such as accessing a safe in the back) to save me the trouble of coming back. Otherwise, if they really do not have enough money to support customers change, then they should probably just get rid of the machine.

I come to this Ralphs pretty frequently. The workers are always pretty friendly and the store seems well stocked. I've never had an issue shopping here. There's plenty of parking as well.
