I would go with 5 stars because the Goomers are AWESOME, but I could never really find what I wanted or needed there inside the store. I can definitely count on dog food. It felt small inside with limited options for a variety of things I needed that day. BUUUUT Staff members are super friendly. Nice environment. Clean environment. Plus, THE GROOMERS ARE ALWAYS GREAT TO MY DOG AND I. My dog is a very nervous dog, and she comes out happy every time. SO HAPPY WITH THEM.

For my experience at the Torrance Cross Roads location. I previously (in April) had a bad experience with both my dogs getting groomed all over too short, and being charged additional charges which included skin soothing and dematting. What dematting? Shaving is dematting? I never authorized the skin soothing services online when I booked the appt. and when my daughter dropped them off she was not aware she was authorizing anything new. We never had poor service with Breonna our past groomer, but now that we are dealing with the manager, Kimberly, we have not had a good experience. My husband complained about her because he was with my daughter at the pick up and he felt her to be unnecessarily excessively talking about extra services rendered. He thought I had asked for this so they just paid for it and left as soon as she would give the dogs back. I spoke with Diego, the manager about it and then I finally brought my babies in for what i thought was going to be a complimentary bathing and grooming, and again I received attitude from Kimberly the manager and Diego conveniently did not remember offering anything more than a bath for my dogs. He then proceeded to talk to me like I was in the wrong. I decided not to get the bath, because that was not the problem that I stated to him during our 2 calls.
I do not feel that I was heard at my local Petco and I have decided to take my business elsewhere.

Don't schedule a grooming without selecting a specific person. Our dog is anxious, had been to the groomer here a few times until today when they try to use him as part of a grooming class, the fact that we weren’t asked about it this made him more anxious so they cancelled our appointment because he tried to “bite” there was 5 people about to do a one person job. I understand if it got canceled for a precaution but maybe ask if he should be a part of a whole class. Definitely not going back there.

Could not get a good answer why when I spend 60-70 per month on dog food my reward points hardly grow. I can buy through amazon for less

I set up an appointment for my dog and the attendant did not check correctly the vaccination record and said that my dog did not have the rabies and did not wanted to take my dog to do her grooming and I decided to take her to the grooming location across the street from petco and the attendant there said the vaccination records show that she is not due until 2025 for rabbies it’s a shame that Petco hired people that don’t want to work

Came here on a weekday around 3:00 to purchase a leopard gecko and the staff were so nice! I had bought the supplies and food at the South Gate location but wanted a specific gecko I had seen here. They were able to tell me about their personality (which checked out) and habits. Having the app got me 50% off as well which was nice. Would recommend this location!
