The planting and delivery team of Nick Estrada and his crew at the Redondo Beach location were great. Nick took his time to make sure the planting was exactly how I wanted it and made sure that I had the right watering instructions going forward.

bought an apple,fig,peach and pomegranate tree and man they are already giving fruits and well take care of, I have bought trees in different locations but never got trees that actually look good and are producing fruits already, a lil pricey but definitely worth the price! Managers are been so nice thanks to David for taking care of us and the advices!

Great service and vast array of trees in my near location. They are very expensive and sometimes they run out of different/rarer trees. What is really good is that they are very helpful with the process of getting a tree. They make sure you get the tree you want instead of wanting you to buy the first thing you see. They installed 4 Pygmy Date Palms on my neighbors backyard now her yard has a full glamorous tropical look. She also plans to get Piru Queen palms installed by May. I also bought a Pygmy date palm from here other from it being overpriced (likely because most of their stock is local grown) it was great and it really brings out the tropical look I love. I would definitely recommend it if you are a true tree lover and are willing to put the investment into it.

I ordered Boxwood Japanese bushes in October. I was told by the employee Jay that a deposit was sufficient for hold the bushes that were in stock at the Torrance nursery. After putting a thousand dollar deposit, I was informed that a contractor name Uriel would contact us regarding replanting a palm tree to a new location in the front yard. It took four weeks and no one contacted us. I had to reach out and ask when are they scheduled to arrive. Uriel stated that a five hundred fee was expected to do the replanting. I took it upon myself to move the tree and prep the soil for the bushes. This week, Jay from from Moon Valley called to state if we are paying the remaining balance in full before the delivery/installation. After explaining the issues with Uriel, and no DigAlert ticket, why the demand for payment without first clearing up the miscommunication. This is when the Manager Mckenzie spoke up in the background and demanded to know if we are paying now or not. There is no reason to treat customers like there in a DMV waiting to assistance. I returned to Moon Valley, and speaking to Bill and Mckenzie, refund of only eighty-five percent was returned. The stated a "Cancelation Fee".
Please be careful with vendors or businesses that have terrible customer service and punish your dissatisfaction by charging a fee.

We had the most incredible experience with Nick Estrada and his fantastic team from Moon Valley Redondo Beach location! They recently planted a beautiful olive tree and a bunch of vibrant citrus plants in our garden, and we couldn't be happier.Nick and his team were incredibly friendly and accommodating. They not only planted the trees but also provided valuable insights on care and maintenance. Their expertise made the entire process smooth and enjoyable.The team's dedication to their work was evident in the meticulous planting of each tree. They went above and beyond to ensure that everything was just right, and their passion for creating green spaces truly shone through.

Moon valley has a wide selection and a knowledgeable staff. I had an extended warranty and replace a tree I had purchased a year ago. Nick and his staff replanted my tree making sure I was happy with the new tree and explained the proper care for ensuring a healthy tree.

I would leave NO STARS if allowed too. When I visited The Redondo Beach Moon Valley Nursery (MNV) in October, we selected a number of Japanese Boxwood bushes for our front yard property line. Jay assisted us in taping the selected bushes and accepted on thousand dollar deposit to hold and send a third party contractor name Uriel to replant an small spindle palm tree to the otherside of the yard. After three weeks, I had to contact Uriel, who responded that a minimum fee of five hundred dollars would be needed to replant the tree. After replanting myself, and preping the site for the Japanese Boxwood bushes, Jay from MVN called, stating when will the balance of the payment be paid. No DigAlert (811) was ticketed, nor shared with, via text, or email. As I was speaking to Jay, a female, later identified as Mckenzie, shouted to Jay, "I need to know NOW, because it's taking place TOMORROW!" This was unacceptable, and would not tolerated by me. I immediately arrived to the MVN in Redondo Beach, spoke to Bill, who after listening to my experiences with MVN and the miscommunication, called over Mckenzie, who stated that they do not accept deposits for plants,(which they did.), nor will they accept monthly payments unless it was through Wells Fargo (Separate review). Not satisfied will Mckenzies so called, I asked refund to my deposit, back into my Visa card. The final insult to this experience with MVN, was the Cancelation Fee of fifteen percent! The audacity to charge a fee, after poor communication, and service! No labor or material was ever delivered to my address, and the hubris to take $150.00 for Canceling for there poor customer service is why I post this review to warn young homeowners to beware who you look to hire for home improvement.

I bought a medium-large snake plant for indoors and some potting soil here. They were the only nursery around I could find that actually keeps them in stock. Everywhere else makes you order them, and I wanted to pick out ours myself. They gave me an amazing value of a deal because the plant I picked was very dense and will easily be split into other plants and pots in the future. The plant is also healthy and colorful. It has already grown visibly over the past week and a half!The staff team was helpful but not hovering and very friendly. I'll be back I'm sure once I figure out what else we want for the inside and outside.

I was looking for some olive tree and San Pedro cacti. There are some really good plants here. numerous sizes for you to choose. The employees are friendly and helpful. Nice place to go shopping for your plants!

We bought a couple of trees and some plants years ago at the HB location, and recently bought a couple of palms at the Redondo location. The customer service was absolutely wonderful! The trees and plants were good quality when they arrived, and the delivery was quick and left clean.
