I spoke with the owner for a verbal valuation of some ancestral gemstones and he asked me to come to his store. I reached his store within 15 mins and he turned me out saying he has many customers right now and is busy and that was not the case when he asked me to come.
What kind of a customer service, retail experience and most importantly is this unprofessional behavior. He treated me as if I was some one off the streets and walked in. I would have expected him to ask me to wait till he clears the customers rather than almost force me out of store. Very poor and souring experience and have not had that kind of an experience in a very long time.

We love the team at Modern Jewelers! Sam, Cindy, and Stacey treat you like friends you've known for decades and always provide exceptional service and recommendations. My husband and I came in to get my mom's ring tuned up (also a Modern Jewelers ring) and I asked if we could look at some loose diamonds "for fun." Sam pulled out a gorgeous elongated cushion that I immediately fell in love with and couldn't stop thinking about! After trying to convince my husband it's an early push present and anniversary gift, Sam set the diamond aside and worked with my husband on a reasonable price. The great thing about Sam is that ultimately he just wants to see his clients happy! Sam took in all of my preferences and created a beautiful custom setting ring. I can't stop staring at it and it makes me so happy throughout the day. Highly recommend Modern Jewelers for all your jewelry needs. (And Sam will take some cute pictures of you too!)

I am very fortunate to have found myself at Modern Jewelers. I brought in a broken necklace and bracelet that snapped and a bracelet I had almost abandoned hope on any chance of revival. To say that Sam, aka Dr. Jeweler, did an incredible job would be an understatement. He performed a jewelry miracle! I recently moved to the South Bay area and needed to find a new jeweler. I came across Modern Jewelers and from the moment I stepped into the store I was warmly welcomed by Sam and his employees. Not only do they have a great selection of rings, earrings, necklaces and more (which are SO fun to try on!) but they were also very helpful in making suggestions to refresh and fix some of my older pieces. Sam is a very talented and creative jeweler and makes a lot of custom pieces - so you can get just about anything made here!
When I returned to pick up my pieces he had his camera with him, so I got to be in a few fun snaps. Highly recommend Modern Jewelers and would give 10 stars if I could!

If you are looking for a place that welcomes you as soon as you step in, treats you like family, and answers all of your questions when it comes to finding that special piece of jewelry, this is the spot. You will have to look no further. I promise! When my fiancé and I were shopping for our wedding rings Sam and his staff were very helpful, answered all our questions, and helped us to find our beautiful wedding rings! Thank you to Sam and his staff helping me select a 25th anniversary present for my wife. I love the service and selection. It is a beautiful anniversary ring and earring set. My wife love it.
