The owner is kind and helpful, and the eyeglass selection here is great. There is a variety of titanium, plastic, and metal glasses with and without nose pads.
My prescription is pretty strong, -5.00 and -4.00. In the past, I've had glasses with thick lenses that stuck out of the frames, making the glasses heavy and wearing them an uncomfortable experience.
The owner listened to my concern and made the lenses of my glasses as thin as they could be, which was such a relief. My glasses are so light now, and I can wear them throughout the day without discomfort or pain from what would have been constant weight of the lenses on my temples, behind the ears, nose, etc.
I also got the anti-glare coating and UV blue light protection, all at an affordable price.
Let's talk about price. The eyeglass prices here are affordable compared to American optometries. I've worked as an optician at an American optometry before, and even with insurance, eyeglasses with thinner lenses, special coatings, etc. can amount up to $900+.
Not this business. Miso Optical has prices nowhere near that.
Did I mention a fast turnaround time? You can usually receive your glasses within a week or less, compared to the standard 2-3 weeks at other optometries.
One important note is that this business is located inside a Korean market and Korean-owned, and the owner speaks in Korean, so if you're not Korean, you might want to bring a Korean friend to translate for you or call in advance to come in on a day when his daughter works.
Overall, I rate this place a 10/10. Good selection of glasses, affordable prices, and excellent service. Highly recommend!
