I'm very disappointed in the used car sales operation at Mercedes of South Bay. I purchased a Certified pre-owned car from the dealership and was only given one key. My salesman, Sam, told me they would send a second key to me as they do with all pre-certified cars. When I followed up with Sam he told me to speak to the used car manager, Hector. Hector told me he would address the issue but never responded again after multiple attempts to contact him. It's been over 2 months and I have followed up numerous times with no result. There are far better Mercedes dealerships in the area. Both Fletcher Jones Mercedes in Newport Beach and Mercedes of Laguna Niguel are more reliable and trustworthy than South Bay. I expect much better service out of Mercedes and this dealership does not live up to the Mercedes standard.

This is our 4th car purchase from AutoNation. Again, the team members exceeded our expectations with their service and the car. Specifically, Truman who took good care of us, was very patient with us, and went through all the details about the features and benefits of the car. I highly recommend going with Truman. He will take care of you. Thank you Truman!

In short, deceiving, untruthful and untrustable dealer.
I visited them two weeks ago, they didn't have the car with packages I asked for. Today their manager, victor or hector, called me and gave me an offer, and sent me the window sticker of the car. I drove an hour to their dealership, the manager himself didnt show up, an agent showed me another car, that was different and cheaper than the one they texted me, i asked him to talk to his manager, but after he talked to the manager he cane back and said, this is the car we are selling to you, and we wont give you the one that we talked over the phone. First they even tried to deceive me that this car has exactly the same packages. But i checked and found out they are very different.
NEVER do business with people who don't respect their own words.

I am extremely disappointed with the treatment I received from the service department. Granted the service was for a vehicle that belongs to the company I work for but the service I received was personal. I got a vehicle towed in for a key cut and there were some issues with being able to provide the service which is completely understandable. The frustrating part is that I called every day since the vehicle got towed in to speak with the advisor and as their site states “If you have any questions about servicing your vehicle, you may also give us a call to speak with one of our friendly and knowledgeable service advisors.” I never received a call back and when I finally went in I was belittled by the advisor Jackie and her Manager Ivan. They refused to allow me to get the vehicle towed out and instead called a colleague of mine while I was physically sitting at the dealership and told him that he would be able to send a tow to pick up the vehicle without any reasoning as to why they called my colleague instead of speaking to me and allowing me to send a tow. When I was telling Ivan my role at the Company I work for he cut me off and said “I do not know what that is” instead of respectfully asking what my title is and what my role consist of with the company. My role involves me to work with all dealerships and I’ve never experienced treatment like I did from South Bay Mercedes and I will be sending cars to a different Mercedes from this point on. I understand this complaint probably will not go far but I needed to address my frustration and let people know that the service I received from this dealer was inadequate to the service that I traditionally receive.

I dropped off my spinner truck not even w0 days after purchased and the transmission blew out. Service department is horrible with communication. My service person is juan never response never answer the calls. I call the dealership and Service department always hang up. I have to go thru the sale department to get thru and even the sale dept. Has a hard time locating juan they always leave him notes to call me and he never does. I purchased this spinner truck for my business and it been in the dealer for 2 weeks now with no update. I have gone to the dealer to look for him n he's either on lunch or not there the Service manager is useless. Next time I will definitely not bring it here. They refused to give me a rental or help pay for uhual meanwhile. Horrible not even a full month and I'm paying the bill for a spinner that was sold to me with a messed up transmission.

Amazing!!!!!! Mercedes South Bay was the last place that I went shopping for a car for my daughter to buy, and the dealership is absolutely beautiful and as soon as you walk in, you’re immediately welcomed and attended to. I was attended to by Ingrid, who went out of her way to make sure we were taken care of. Very professional, detailed, and knowledgeable. Ingrid made everything so easy and trouble-free. She made sure to listen, truly, to find us a vehicle that would work in our budget, way beyond that, work for my daughter's style. We weren’t able to quite get the car we wanted the same day, but we’ll be back very soon hopefully. Seriously an incredible dealership. If you are shopping for a Mercedes, I’d say this is the best experience I’ve had at a dealership in roughly 10 years I can even argue. Ask for Ingrid, trust me. You’ll be in good hands. Thank you so much for being so accommodating!

Truman De la Cruz was so knowledgeable, supportive, no pressure with a focus on what was right for me and my budget. Hei is truly happy that I am happy. He enjoys the hat he does , selling a wonderful product but , more importantly helping others!

I was going to do business with this place but the service wasn't what I expected. My sales person wasn't organized, and made several trips to the office and back needing me to fill in more info when he could have gotten it at the beginning. I was getting irritated by the minute. One of the "numbers guys" came out to introduce himself, he was actually nice and knew what he was doing. I thought he was working on my deal. I asked for him after my sales guy kept making my experience awkward and was told he was with a customer in a rude tone.
I got up, went to get some fresh air outside and when I came in several minutes later I was met by the sales guy right in front at the main entry and he started speaking very loudly so everyone around could hear my business. It was unprofessional and because of that I left without making a purchase with this place. Before I left I told the sales guy to cancel my application and I walked out. This dealership continued to run my credit after I left as I was getting notifications from the credit bureaus well into the next day.

Just left after seeing a mercedes on car gurus for sale. It was a good price I even test drove it and fell in love with the car. I've done my research and know how shady dealerships can be and thank God I did! I have been approved by my credit union so I was purchasing through them. Julian was my salesman because omar was not available. On top of charging fake fees such as highway patrol fees lmao they refused to give me a purchase order because I would not let them run my credit. I caught them lying multiple times. Julian even went as far to bring 4 different damn people to convince me to run my credit and I refused! I ultimately walked away. Be careful going here. If I had not known better they would have tricked me 100% They seem nice but it's a business at the end of the day. They care about the money. They even tried tricking me and said I would finance through them first and when my bank sent the check it switches over. A bunch on b.s!!! I have to add there was a manager there that seemed reasonable. He even took off the fake fees and told me good job for pointing them out. He literally said " I don't know why they don't want to sell you the car" in front of the salesman who proceeded to roll his eyes and say "oh my God". He seemed to be the only one with bit of integrity smh
