This was such a weird experience! I just had to share it! We came in to exchange a ring that didn't fit my fiance and to exchange it for a different style. There were three ladies who saw us waiting but didn't try to approach. They just kept talking. Then my fiancée goes up to them and ask for help they all three start arguing with each other that they don't have keys and no one wants to be the one to help? Okay then the lady who had to stay is rushing us and being pretty snappy. It was all just a strange experience!

I was in Macy's today in the Ralph Lauren section behind a couple trying to buy a couple items. The woman working there asked the man if he'd like to save 20% with his Macy's card, so he gave it to her. She then said she had to update the information since it hadn't been used in more than a year. This turned into a phone call to Macy's somewhere to verify him, and also called him on his cell phone. At around 20 minutes the guy just gave up and paid in cash. If that's how they treat customers, then no thanks. I'll never go back again. Absolutely ridiculous!

Worst customer service EVER ! Ordered two overcoats and paid for premium shipment as I was on a tight schedule. Without any communication I see that My order is delayed for a week! since I won't be there to collect it I ask for a refund and to cancel the order, to what I'm told I cannot do that until the order is received and sent back to them... Please avoid at all cost to buy online from them!

Good but not great. Macys is one of Del Amo's large anchor stores. They have 3 floors and are very large. If you want to go from one end of the mall to the other end of the mall, you will have to walk through Macys. My opinion is that they do very little to put up great products along the walkway to lure customers further into the store. Better yet they are old school and their clothes and layout of the store does not cater to the newer generations. I came here on black friday to buy hugo boss suit. Their selection is very little in store and offers more online. More sizes are available online and very little, if not, no available sizes in stores. I tried out their suit in the fitting room and it's a complete mess in there. So many needles everywhere like on the seat and the floor. Like i need to take off my shoes to try out the pants and the needles are all over the ground. The needles came from the nicely packed dress shirt that uses needles to hold its shape in its packaging. The cashier was not friendly and monotone. It seemed a bit depressing inside Macys from the atmosphere of the store and from staff. But the price is good. You can find deals at Macys and you can get discounted Macys gift card at various places. Macys have some good brands in their stores but better selection and sizes online.

Went there today to buy four specific items. Found them and went to cashier. Sign said closed. Tried 4 other registers with same result. Finally found one open on the other side of the store. Long line of a dozen people waiting ... and waiting. Cashier was having a personal conversation with a customer and, after easily 15 minutes, everyone in line including me left our merchandise and departed. I shopped at another store where they had great, attentive assistance. Not going back to Macy's as long as they are this understaffed.

I've visited this Macy's location a few times within the past 2 weeks and not one time was there anyone to help me in the jewelry section. I tried getting one of the girls at Pandora to help me but they said they couldn't. The lack of customer service is very telling of how things are ran at this Del Amo location. Leaving 1 star is generous even when it's needed to leave a review.

I was shopping with my spouse this morning. I was waiting in the register line as no cashier available. I am a person of color and saw that the cashier Johnie was putting clothes away. Another customer (white) was walking towards the cashier and Johnie informed us he was going to take him first. He caught me by surprise as we were standing in line and I was puzzled why he would take that customer first if we were standing in line and that customer was just walking up to register. I believe in the importance of communication and asked Johnie why he would take him first. His story did not make sense. Breaks my heart that people think it's ok to be racist. It's not ok, and always speak up . You can be black, white, yellow at the end of your shift Johnnie people of all color are paying your paycheck.

Yesterday I went in to the Men's Department at May's Del Amo Fashion Center and I have been shopping there for a long time. It has always been the one store I can find what I am looking for. However, lately it has become disappointing. I do not see men's clothing in the store as displayed on Macy's web site. In addition, I was waiting in line to check out and the one sales associate went and closed her register while I was waiting in line for some time. I don't fault her for needing a break or perhaps using a restroom; however, I was not happy when she closed and offered no appology or even a reason. I really don't expect much anywhere anymore because the world has changed. However, this one individual apparently knows nothing about common sense. Perhaps, she was never taught what being polite is, or just has no people skills at all. Stores get upset when they do not have customers coming in. But with service like I experienced yesterday, they have no one to thank but themselves.

I went june 15th 2023 to Macy's Redondo Beach looking for a couch. This particular one I was very interested in a wrenley cuddle couch. The sales woman told me the wrong price, also wrong information about the layout.. This person was shopping on line on her phone. Not interested in helping at all. Will never shop here again...

This Macy's is better than most. I like the Customer Service area on the first floor. There's a few smart women/men who do returns quickly. I shop a lot online due to my size so it's nice to have the area next to parking for returns. I think as a get older I have less patience to shop in the store. Also the variety of merchandise is good. This Macy's is 3 stories. Women's department is downstairs, then Shoes, Purses and Beauty on the second floor. Lastly, evening, sleep and undergarments on the top floor. The Men's, kitchen and bedding (Home) department is completely separate on the other side of the mall. Parking for that is the first/second floor across Carson. I've never had to wait too long to get checked out unless it's the holidays.

I visited Macy's today at 1:37 in the afternoon. The store was not very busy when I was there. The entrance I used was off to the side. They opened at 10 am and the trash can was completely full with some trash spilling over. Come on folks get your business together. Amazon is a real threat and they deliver. People may not buy from your nasty environments and pay top dollar. Create an environment that is clean and we will shop there. Plus whomever laid out the tables in bedding needs their head examined. This table is in a walkway blocked product.

Worst retail experience EVER! I went into the home store specifically to buy a comforter at 7pm tonight. I asked the lady at the register if I could get some help and she told me that she was too busy and had to count out 3 registers. It's 7pm and I'm wanting to spend $$ to buy a comforter !I asked if there was a manager and was told he was gone. I don't think I would've take. Much time figuring out which comforter I wanted but no one could help me. Couldn't even get a manager to help.... Never been to a store that didn't want to help to profit. Horrible, horrible service.I don't even want to leave 1 star.I left tonight with NO comforter......horrible and sad.

Irene (I didnt get her last name but she was in mens Levi's section. She'sa small famed asian lady with a short bob.) is an AMAZING ASSOCIATE. She greeted us with a huge smile, you could even see behind her mask. She went above and beyond to help the Mister n I with our transactions. We had an exchange which they didn't have the size we were looking for so she did a return. She then helped us with another transaction and also let us know that it was a buy 1, get 1/2 of another and that would be the best transaction, so we went with that. She waited for us to find the sizes we needed (even when she had a little line behind us.) She was patient and very kind.
