“The best family-feel neighborhood corner store EVER. First off, it's owned by a family of amazing people that have become part of MY family. They chat with everyone uniquely because they actually care to know everyone, in addition to them being cool, charismatic people. Selection is GREAT. If you don't see something you're interested in, ask. There's a decent chance they'll get it for you, esp if you're a regular. They've got a cigar room- thing. I could go on, but you get the idea. Love this place and those guys.Oh yeah... they sell a TON of winning scratchers!!!I haven't got anything great yet, but almost everyone else seems to!Bottom line, just go there if you're in/live in the area.”

“I work around the corner and I wanted to grab a cup of noodles. I left with 4 tamales. They have a good selection of tamales, at least 6 different kinds. I got cheese, chicken verde and strawberry, and they're so good that I wanted to leave a review. If you like strawberry, you should definitely try it once.”
“A great location, always stocked and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Only downside is the so so parking scramble. Neee to be really cautious when parking.”

“Excellent customer service at the Torrance store. June went above and beyond to help me find what I needed for my dining area. She was simply amazing. She even called another store to help me find merchandise. I haven’t been in the World Market store for years and I am so glad I stopped in to the store to browse. With June’s assistance I became a member and benefitted greatly in discounts helping me buy a dining set of chairs. Thank you June!”
“Thre location is great because it's the only liquor store right there on the way to the freeway... but the setup they have is completely obtrusive in front of the register. It leaves the customer confused as to where to start the line.”
“Very friendly and helpful. Despite manning the register, they left their post and helped me find a whisky for my partner's birthday and even helped me get a second opinion! Went above and beyond and had a clear passion for whisky.
I wish I could remember the fellas name who helped me, but I believe it started with a C and he was a larger Latino fella with a solid beard.

“JONS International Market was the ONLY local source that I was able to identify for a particular imported delicacy I was looking for (looking all over the LA basin for). The staff was friendly and VERY helpful...and the had the "no sugar added" baklava that I was looking for.It remains my only direct source fo "no sugar added" baklava. The staff, by the by, remains friendly and VERY helpful.”
“Smaller than the bevmo! I've been in before. The employees were friendly, asking what I was looking for and professional with their attitude. They also responded to my questions with genuine answers. My perception of a larger store was the only issue, otherwise this location met my needs.”

“Mr. K's does not look like much from the exterior, but it is a super liquor store. You want it, I bet they have it. Of course they have the typical things that liquor stores carry like sodas and snacks, beer and cheap wine, but they also have great wine and some of the best selection of bourbons and tequilas I have seen in a quaint liquor store. Their prices are super reasonable and the service is just so nice. We have been a few times now and each time the staff was so helpful. You will really like this liquor store. They have it all.”

“I'm scared to review. I only come here for lotto and I do pay cash. I've gotten lucky here so we keep coming. The store is packed to the T with items that they sell. I haven't been treated bad here but I guess I'll buy something next time to see if they overcharge or try to add hidden fees as the majority of the reviews said. I won't put a bad review now because I haven't faced any of these issues mentioned. But 5 stars is definitely for this place being lucky”

I don't think it's right people try to argue with someone running a small business without understanding what the small business owner has to pay for and be able to survive here in southern California.”
