I drive from Redondo to get my car serviced by Alex. He is one of the most fair and trustworthy mechanics I have come across. He truly wants his customers to just be safe and happy in their vehicles. He doesn't dig deep into pockets because he doesn't need to...The demand for business and the automotive expertise are there. L-Spec's receptionist, Haddy is always so friendly, honest and helpful- taking time to explain things even when it's not her job to. I will be taking all of my vehicles here with a strong sense of respect and peace of mind from L-Spec. Thank you greatly!

I’m glad I found L-Spec when I moved down to Torrance a couple of years ago. The people here are honest, knowledgeable, and they really respect you and your car. They have 5 stars for a reason.

Great experience! Thenowner fired my issue that was cause by the previous shop getting it wrong. They are honest and have fair prices. I think they are not cheap but the knowledge of cars is fantastic.

I couldn't be happier with the way this place is run. Keeps their word, keeps you posted, gives options and just amazing all around. My car broke down badly and they kept me posted along the way. Heidi was amazing. I'll definitely be going back to them from now on for any car servicing needs . I only met Heidi but super happy with the entire process. They fixed everything. I love my car and now I feel like I have a brand new car!

Alex knows his stuff. I have a specialty car and can't imagine taking it anywhere else. He's fixed a lot of the work done by old shops and look forward to having my engine rebuilt by Alex because I know it'll be done right.

This place saved me a whole battery! My headlight had water in it and wouldn't turn off even if the car was completely off. The whole day I was running around from different repair shops trying to at least get the headlight turned off so it wouldn't run my battery but everyone said I had to take the entire bumper off to turn off the headlight. I called every repair place near me but everyone said come in tomorrow morning but as a last hope I called 10 mins before closing and Alex said if I brought it in he would be able to try and help. He was straight up and worked on the car over 30 MINUTES PAST CLOSING TIME!! The headlight finally turned when I got home thanks to Alex. He runs the whole place by himself and is much more reliable than any other big companies. Im a first time car owner and he explained everything so clearly much better than pep boys and all the other repair shops I went to around torrance. I would 100% recommend Alex, he's a great person and he truly cares about his customers.

Found L-Spec while scouring online forums and reviews on Yelp/Google. Glad I found them!Alex is honest and extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful in terms of knowledge on cars. He gave me a quote that I felt was fair and I will now only take my cars to him! Drove 1 hour to see him and I don't regret it one bit!

Alex is the best and most trustworthy mechanic out there. I recently brought my car in for service engine light due to leak. He could not find the leak but spent hours trying to fix my car. The leak might be from a bad windshield install prior but he did not charge me for the work.
Highly recommend him for his expertise and his honesty.
