“Mimi's in Torrance left my mashed potatoes off my order that my husband picked up for me and his roast beef order had no gravy at all on it when he asked for extra gravy. I asked them to totally redo the orders since the food was gonna be cold and they made it right by totally giving us new orders with everything that was left off the first.”
“I have been buying paints here and the store in Lawndale. They have top brands, and they manufacture their own. Their pricing is the best. Factually, the Lawndale store is less.”

“This is just a friendly reminder, in life you get what you paid for. Don't waste your time, money and energy going to those Big Box retailers, because you will never get great customer service like Dunn-Edwards. This is my second time coming back and I had the pleasure to work with Ms. Monica. The moment I entered the store she greeted me with a beautiful and pleasant smile, mind you, I never met her before. Right away she asked what type of paint I was looking for and I had also brought in a sample of the interior paint I needed. Within a short time she got me the right paint and the overall experience was excellent. Again, I don't mind paying a little more for high quality paint and above all it's a great value because in the end this quality paint last longer. Last, the store is super clean and organized and I am happy to spend my money here becauseI can assure you, no way, you will get this high level of customer service elsewhere. “(This review is a bit overdue, was there about a week ago) I would like to thank Ali, the very nice gentlemen that works the front desk. I placed and order online for two slide doors and did not realized I had not order all the pieces I need it. Ask him for help, he was very patient and contacted the N.C. offices just to verify the parts I need it to order. unfortunately the pieces I need it were out of stock in Torrance but he also help me place the new order and got it ship to my shop. It was the first time ordering through Hafele, definitely will order more stuff soon. Ali's costumer service was beyond what I expected, he has a great welcoming attitude, hes' an excellent employee. Thank You!”

But, when my son and I visited this Lowe's yesterday we were pleasantly surprised by how friendly, courteous, and helpful the staff were. Place was clean and nigh immaculate.
Especially Brenda. Sensing my son and I were looking for something specific, she stopped pruning and walked over to us. And, really, we weren't even that close this was a good 20-30 yards away... anyway, she walked over to assist.
Sorry Home Depot, I won't be returning ... I'm a Lowe's guy now.”

“I have been to the Rockler in Redondo Beach a few times, and I’ve always been met with helpful, knowledgeable staff. I just found out that store will be closing in the near future, for whatever reason. It’s a shame to see the brick and mortar stores close, as is the case with many others due to extremely poor running of both state and nation, which affects these businesses.”
