Ordered flowers for my wife's Dad Shiro's funeral. We referred several cousins and they ordered 3 $250 expensive sprays of which 2 were duplicates of 2 of the 3 we ordered that were $900. They did not put Beloved Husband on the casket spray as ordered and substituted 2 small baskets with Grandfather (he's wasn't a Grandfather) on them instead of the 2 expensive sprays we ordered in addition to the casket spray. That could have been a big deal. We called Fukui Mortuary to let them know and they said Hana Hana is wrong and that Hana. Hana offered a $200 refund. When you make a mistake you don't attempt to cover it up with a couple mislabeled baskets 1/3 the size of what the family ordered and when confronted with your mistake you don't offer a refund of 1/3 the amount paid by the family. You admit your mistake and do not charge for the items ordered. it's quite simple and any ethical business would have taken this route and solution. They got an additional $1,000 in business as a result of my wife letting relatives know she used Hana Hana. That was unacceptable and Fukui said they will no longer use Hana Hana. We do get some satisfaction that they will no longer be a Fukui Mortuary preferred florist. I would suggest you avoid using a Florist that would take advantage of a family at the time of loss and actually try to get away with it and have to have it brought to their attention. Not something that a business named Hana Hana should do to family.

As a small business owner, I'm hard pressed to write a negative review, however the complete lack of professionalism by the store owner was completely unacceptable. Upon noticing an incorrect order, I asked for an adjustment to be made. The owner of the store proceeded to raise her voice and begin shouting about "how busy Valentine's Day is!" Yes, that day seems to bring a lot of stress to us all, but that's no way to treat a customer. Own the mistake, correct it, let's move on - correct way to handle business. Yell, complain about how stressed you are to the customer, and make no alterations to the incorrect order - good luck remaining in business. Needless to say, will never come here again.

If I can do a negative rating, I would. This place not only messed up my order (I specifically asked them not to put in a certain flower), had a brown lily in my expensive order, but was abnormally rude when I pointed out their error and asked them to compensate. Very difficult to believe, but the small older Japanese lady actually yelled at me to get out of her store, when she knew that I was purchasing flowers for my diseased father. Her inhumane and cruel treatment of me (I ended up being fully charged and chased out of the place) was enough for me to investigate through consumer reports. As it turns out, many people have had negative experiences with this Japanese lady. Worst place ever.

I have been ordering flowers over the phone from here for years! I always order bouquets of white lilies which they've delivered to my mother in law for her birthday, Mother's Day and other occasions. The floral arrangements are always beautiful and worth every dime you pay. The service is always great and they are very kind. They're the best flower shop in the area.

What a great spot we found here in Torrance. The flowers are beautiful. That's a given. But what really impressed us was the service. We picked up some beautiful flowers for a wedding and were looking for some extra butcher paper for a table to cover. The very helpful lady there didn't blink an eye and provided the extra paper with a smile. Great spot!

Can't believe it's taken me this long to write a review for these folks. Suffice it to say, this is a fantastic floral shop. Valentine's day sneaked up on me out of nowhere this year. Being the kind of guy who always gets his wife flowers, I felt particularly ashamed, getting so wrapped up in work that I'd forgotten to order anything. I took off from work a little bit early, and showed up at this place maybe half an hour before closing. I asked if there was any way that I'd be able to order something on such short notice, but the wonderful staff (owners?) helped me without hesitation. I was mesmerized at their handiwork. In just 5 short minutes, they managed to make the most beautiful arrangement, and the charge was cheaper than any other florist I've been to. They instantly won me over with their charm and customer service. Since then, I've been back one more time, stopping to grab my wife flowers on a whim. It was 5:05pm, already past closing, but the owner waved me in. Saying, "it's fine, it's fine," he expertly crafted an arrangement of lilies and roses that brought a smile to me and my wife, for next to nothing! Hana Hana has won a customer for life. So long as I live in the South Bay, they will have my floral business.
