I actually worked for The Gap from 1974 tell about 1977 originally in San Diego but then was transferred to this store and del amo fashion square a lot of good memories of my co-workers and the people I met back in those days a lot of changed since then I'm sure the store has to God bless you all and have a good day

Some of the sales people are extremely rude in this store. I've encountered a few employees who've been helpful but they are few and far between. The store is set up in a very confusing manner. You don't know what section you're in (mens? Womens? teens?) it's not obvious like it is in other Gap locations. They will not honor and/or match online prices and promotions so why would you buy anything in the physical store? What a ridiculous policy! The selection of sizes and colors is slim to none. I'm an "Icon" member Online but in the actual store they do not care. I only come here to return online purchases that didn't work out. Go to the Manhattan Beach location instead. This location is in desperate need of a makeover.

Yikes, can your managers or someone else teach the younger Asian cashier that was working today around 2PM some customer service skills? My husband and I were having issues with Apple pay because of FaceID and my mask, so we told her we'd let her help the person behind us and be right back and she screamed at us (I don't mean just raising her voice, she screamed alarmingly loud enough to make everyone in the store jump) just because she didn't hear the name to hold the order under. Extremely rude and the entire time acting like we were bothering her.

I was disappointed. I got pants there before. I go back for the same size and it's too long. There were no shorter ones in my size. It was too baggy, too.

I dont know what it is but Gap fitting has been killing it. Ive been obsessed with their basic 100% cotton denim Gap for good line. The people in the store are super nice too. also be sure to check out for sales online bc they match prices.

2 stores for organization and size of inventory, minus 3 stars for how customer was treated. I returned an item that I lost receipt (this stuff happens!) and was fine with receiving store credit and showing my ID. The lady was unfriendly with an attitude saying I have a limited number of times I can return stuff here. What on Earth? This is the first time I ever returned anything at Gap in my life. I just hoped she had a bad day and wish her well but please do not take it out on your customer who had every right to make a return and plans to buy more products. For this reason will shop at another store. What is with people and returns? What is a return policy if you get mad when people make returns? I only returned 1 item.

I am rating this location 1 star for customer service and product availability. I've shoppef at Gap the last 10 years. Last week, I picked up an online order for a bralette. I saw the cashier check my bag before leaving. Once I got home I realized that in the place of my bralette was a men's shirt. I called the store right away to explain to the night manager what happened and to ask that she set aside the right item for me. She reassured me that she would include it in hernight email and have it set aside. I gave her the color, size, and item number directly from the tag on my bag. I asked for her to let me know right away if she had the product in stock because I remembered noticing the stock was low and other local Gaps were out of stock. She didn't applologize once for the inconvenience of a second trip to the mall or for the complete lack of accuracy the first time. I told her I would stop by the following day. On this second trip, I show up and she has the wrong item. It was really upsetting because she said "Well, this is the number you gave me yesterday". She blamed me for her misunderstanding, I don't know why if I did my part in confirming the correct item in different ways. I've worked customer service before and the level of service at this location is subpar. She again didn't even apologize for what a big deal one item was becoming. She was completely apathetic. She didn't even offer an alternative. I won't be returning. She and her staff turned a simple buy online, pick up in store purchase into a complicated ordeal. If they can't get one item correctly, I can't trust them with the rest of my holiday shipping.

Visited Gap yesterday, the young lady at the Cashier was pleasant but busy. Another lady Vivian came and assisted me, I honestly was so glad she did as I had been waiting awhile for the lady who was at the Cashier to be free. Great customer service, very helpful ensured I got what I wanted plus they had sale, got some discounts as I had gotten a gift card. So thumbs ☝ Vivian, you were great.
